For those who don't know, a few years ago I scrubbed the surround sound track to isolate as much of the unreleased bgm as I could, and organized it based on kenisu's webpage. I've noticed that he's done some updating, and I've always known that the way I've got my videos organized by number is probably wrong, so if anyone wants to help me fix all of that, please say so here or pm me. I'll probably just let you into my youtube account so you can do it yourself. Though perhaps you all should come to an agreement on what cue should be called what number, first.

I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

As the opening post explains, kenisu's website has full documentation on which songs appear where. It seems you're looking for music from DBZ movies 5 and 4, respectively.

Re: What's that BGM in the Japanese version? Read the OP!
I'm one of the people who helped Kenisu make corrections to the instance of BGMs that played. I am going to give identification of music that are unidentified. I do this to share in the knowledge with everyone else. If Kenisu reads this post, he might figure out who I am. If not, I can PM him and reveal who I am.
All of the BGMs I name should be known on Zestanor's playlist.
- The same music plays for Dragon Ball scenes Goku runs back to the Kame House" (episode 19), Yamcha and the others return to Capsule Corp (episode 45), and Still waiting for the sub (episode 47).
- And The Guys Melt plays on "Kame Sennin wishes he could be alone with Lunch" of episode 29, and "Bulma's special erotic strategy" of episode 52.
- The same music plays for scenes Tied to the Tree (DB episode 18), Goku faces Devilman (DB episode 73), and Gohan decides to fly off on Haiya Dragon (DBZ episode 125).
- The same music plays for Dragon Ball scenes Pterodactyl eats the bird (episode 31), Monkey falls out of the tree (episode 33), and The "bear" is revealed to be Murasaki (episode 42). The bear is revealed to be Murasaki is the tail end of this music piece.
- At Blue's base of episode 47 also plays on Dragon Ball scenes Somebody is spying on Goku (episode 81), The Crane Hermit tests Bulma's patience (episode 87), At the restaurant (episode 88), and Goku rescues Chu-Li from the roof (episode 127).
- Version 2 of At Blue's base plays on Kuririn checks the map (episode 47), and At Papaya Hospital (episode 93). I may be wrong about this having two different versions. The duung sound comes quicker, there's no hang time in the middle like At the Blue's base version 1.
Playing fourteen (14) times in both DB and DBZ is The Panther BGM. It plays on The panther (DB episode 33), Blue disarms the officers (DB episode 56), Upa falls (DB episode 58), Goku vs. Kinkaku (DB episode 79), Princess gets a pants-crapping moment (DB episode 81), Tree falls on Goku (DB episode 82), Tigers attack Goku (DB episode 84), Lunch is evil again (DB episode 90), Goku pursues the masked man (DB episode 91), Goku kicks off his doll's mask (DB episode 130), Piccolo hits Kuririn (DB episode 138), A normal-sized Piccolo rushes at Goku (DB episode 146), Running towards the dragon (DB episode 152), and Gohan kicks Chichi off the roof (DBZ episode 109). Scenes for DB episode 82 and 84 have the tail end of the music. This BGM plays when danger or an attacker is alarming its recipient.

I have question regarding a particular BGM. Is M644 the alternate to M631? Or are they the same track?
M644 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9wZZELD2Ak
M631 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ismqv3rePuo
M644 plays on Dragon Ball episode 140 in the scene "Roshi is somber".

It sounds like the same exact cue to my ears. What you hear in the first video (and in episode 140) has part of the last few notes trimmed out.Vhanos wrote:I have question regarding a particular BGM. Is M644 the alternate to M631? Or are they the same track?

Okay, so the two links to the cue are the same track. I see that the Roshi is somber scene is recorded now, great.
I have another BGM identification. It's Lunch Steals The Princess.
M432 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKULHUH ... TvaVC&t=0s
M433 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG0aC9f ... C&index=28
M433 sounds like another variation of M432. What can we decree it as? I think it's a musical piece that wasn't used in the Sleeping Princess movie the same way that the instrumental version of The Sleeping Princess Chorus Of Doom wasn't used in the movie.
Lunch Steals The Princess never played in the tv series from what I see. M433 plays five (5) times, on DB episodes 82, 84, 113, 135, and DBZ episode 107. The scenes are given.

Re: What's that BGM in the Japanese version? Read the OP!
M433 is indeed an unused cue. I was confused about it at the time I made the documentation because I didn't recognize just how prevalent unused cues are in the movies. Revamping my work on the DragonBall movies created some inconsistency with cue identification in the episodes, which I have yet to revamp. I did make a note for this particular cue (look under movie 2's "Cutting-Room Floor" section for "Lunch's Getaway Goes Awry"), but at the time hadn't yet given a second look at each instance of this cue in the episodes. But I suppose now is as good a time as any to take care of that.Vhanos wrote:Okay, so the two links to the cue are the same track. I see that the Roshi is somber scene is recorded now, great.

Here's what I got this time for DB. Some question marks and corrections on a few errors on the entry. The bgms Lost Item and Tired of Searching can easily be mistaken for each other.
- The Rabbit Gang Pushes Their Weight Around plays on Shu steals the DragonBalls (episode 10) (glowing dragon ball sound effect plays on this scene too) and All looks hopeless (episode 12). The bgm title on the entry is labeled "Getting Impatient".
- Back in Sno's room (episode 43) is Afternoon Nap.
- At Kame House (episode 48) is Back To The Capsule House.
- Tired of Searching plays on "Goku reads. Badly." (episode 18) and Goku lost the Dragon Radar (episode 57).
- Lost Item plays on Goku, Sno and Hatchan set out (episode 42) and Goku catches some fish (episode 47).
Big, Fat Uh-Oh! and the tail end of Mai's News Of The Valley are the same thing. Is the tail end actually part of the first half of the music? I don't think they were ever conjoined in the tv series. Are them being together based on the Dragon Ball disk soundtrack?
I think Silver's Plea and Tracks are the same thing. I've listened to it carefully and came to a conclusion on that.

Re: What's that BGM in the Japanese version? Read the OP!
I think this is what I get for putting the documentation out there while it was still imperfect (also, at the time, I didn't have the greatest knowledge of some of the ins and outs of BGM). I've actually known about or suspected a lot of these errors for many years now. Some of them I even knew from the get-go were possibly mistakes, but I left them in as placeholders until I could get around to my second/final draft - which I'd expected to get to much, much sooner, but then I suffered massive burnout, then life got in the way, etc. etc.
It so happens that I've finally gotten around to revamping the documentation, and for the record, I'm intent on going through it with a fine-toothed comb. I've been making recordings of each cue as they occur in each episode - not just the unreleased material, EACH cue, so that I don't overlook any tricky alternate takes this time - so I can closely scrutinize them.

Kenisu, I found another mistake in your BGM list, Episode 211 You put M1318 when the announcer recalls the battle between goku and master roshi when it was supposed to be M1308
