What in the world do you think those lines mean? Why would they feel the need to specify that Toppo is identical to a God of Destruction if it's not for his strenght? Just to tell us that he has similair simbols on his chest now?
They were specifically talking about Toppo's "energy" being "like a god's." Toppo became a god due to him being the next god of U11. Naturally his strength increased but NO strength comparison was made to a specific god. So If becoming a god means you are just as strong as one [according to you not TOEI ] why is it stated that Jiren only surpassed Belmound and not all the gods?

Dragon Ball is popular overseas, but not that popular.
Probably not in Europe or North America, but it is huge at South America, so I wouldn't doubt it.
Power levels are not just big numbers:
Spoiler:
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

Because Toppo never surpassed Belmod, even after transforming, he just became equal/slightly weaker, and that's why Jiren was the only one who surpassed the Gods. Come on dude, it's not hard, you can do it

I just did prove your statements are nothing more than headcannon...
Vegeta_Sama:" Toppo is as strong as a god"
Now you say: "Toppo is "slightly weaker/equal"
TOEI says: Jiren is stronger than "A god."
Vegeta_Sama states: "Jiren suprassed the godS."
We could discuss the fandom's confusion in the strength discussion thread..
Lord Beerus wrote:Sooo... confirmation that Super Saiyan Blue is set to appear in the new movie this year?
I would assume so. No way this Saiyan opponent will not require Blue level power and higher.

Toppo is as strong as a random generic God, but he could also be slightly weaker than one (in that particolar case I was talking about Belmod, buy you just had to leave stuff out to look smart) , since we don't have exact numbers, and we know that there are very small difference in power, but nothing too crazy. Nothing is conflicting here bud, stop trying to create stuff out of thing air. And since we assume that the Gods are more or less equals (again, with small differences in power, I HAVE to say it, otherwise you'll take it out context again) then if Jiren is stronger than a God, he's stronger than most, if not all of them. Do you even use basic logic dude? Doesn't look like it.
Vegeta_Sama wrote:
Nope. We didn't say that Toppo was as good as a God of Deatruction, Belmod did. We're not the ones who said that Jiren is stronger than the GoD, Whis did. Vegeta beat Toppo, Goku UI beat Jiren, so by basic easy logic, they're stronger than a God of Destruction. And before you even say it, no, nonody ever stated that Beerus is stronger than other Gods.
Nor the opposite. We know for a fact that "anyone" can be a GoD, it is not some power that comes to you. Consequently, each one of them would have their own power level, which means that it does not matter if they say that Toppo is as GoD, that does not give us any information about their power level in relation to Beerus.
No shit, that's why we generally assume that all of the Gods have similair power levels, for comodity's sake, otherwise we would be here discussiong who's stronger all day
Speak for yourself. I don't generally assume that all of the gods have similar power levels. And consequently, your statement of "Both Vegeta and Gokuh have surpassed Beerus" is just baseless, only supported by your own personal assumption.
Oh thank God, SSJB isn't nasty dull cyan, it's actually blue! Kaioken is gonna look great on top of it.
Now I just wanna see SSJ2 art and I'll be pleased with the Saiyan forms.

This could be a problem. If their regular Super Saiyan Blue forms are animated/coloured THIS Blue.. than what would become of a Super Saiyan Blue Evolution’s colour?
Regular SSJ Blue is usually always more greenish when aura-less, while SSBE is far more Blue and has no greenish tint to it at all.

Yeah, it's even more worrying with a much better quality scan:

Tell me that isn't SSBE

I mean this is still a normal Blue color. It is darker than the normal SSB, but it is still easily distinguishable from the color of SSBE. SSBE is a dark blue with the white streaks in it. Another defining feature is the fact that in SSB Vegeta doesn't have pupils but in SSBE he does have the white pupils.
Spoiler:
Super carries on much of Dragon Ball and Z's charm in ways that might not immediately be obvious, while also bringing something new to the table. I certainly can't think of any previous arcs like Goku Black, and, for all its problems, the Tournament of Power is possibly the most ambitious storytelling endeavor in series history as far as how its narrative unfolds. It's also a thrill ride, which is all I wanted and exactly what I got. Super also canonizes decades old fan theories in ways that very naturally tie into the overall fabric of Dragon Ball's world in satisfying ways. All in all, Dragon Ball, Z, and Super are all well worth experiencing.

As we know, Toriyama didn’t come up with SSBKK and since its a Toriyama written story, chances are that we won’t see that form so while kaioken maybe would look good with this coloring, we probably wont see it.

I have a feeling SSBE wasn’t a Toriyama idea but a Toei only idea. Just like SSBKK. So SSBE might not even show up.
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie.

Toriyama doesn't script the action. Kaioken is just a technique after all.
Besides, there has been no confirmario that Toriyama didn't come up with SSGSS KK. (Manga not using it is not confirmation).

It's obvious SSBKK and SSBE weren't Toriyama's ideas. Just Toei's. We're only getting SSB and maybe CSSB. Also Goku reawakens UI to fight the new Saiyan.

It is clear CSSB was not a Toriyama idea so why would we see that in the movie? I agree about SSBKK but I think SSBE is gonna show up in the manga

Realistically? Nothing significant. Love to be proven wrong though.
I'm also happy about this for now although he almost always is featured preeminently in promotional material while his actual role is not quite that,uh, significant.
In any case, I do recall Toshio Furukawa urging people to look forward to the movie in his end of DBS comment, so maybe?

If it's anything like the ROF movie, everyone will perform fantastically depending on what scraps they are thrown..
That freeza army fight sequence was wonderful..
Now if the measurement of doing something is done through characters farting main villans to sun, then no, piccolo isn't gonna do jack when we have SSB right there..
The Lord moves in mysterious ways but you don't have to. Please use your blinker
Piccolo definetely looks more badass, just like in the old days.
It would be great if he had received some training from Whis to make him relevant against the new opponent.

Them showing his design doesn't mean anything. The same thing happened with ResF he got decent marketing but all he did was fight mooks.
In a movie about Saiyans I think people really need to adjust expectations for Piccolo otherwise we're gonna get the typical pages and pages and pages of complaining because people let their expectations get the better of them.
I am expecting at most Piccolo to help Goku farm for some vegetables.
