Hey, whats the deal with that gokuden guy? He claims that he owns all of the boxes, but I wanted proof he sent me comparison clips which were not uploaded by him, and after that he showed me pictures of "his" dragonboxes which he obviously ripped the pictures off an ebay auction lol

I've seen bootlegs with some decent video. Better than FUNi's stuff while still having like 10 episodes per disc. However, the subs are horrible and the quality could be a lot better if you just got the real thing.

LOL The guy steals dbox footage, dragon box pictures from ebay auctions and claims that he owns the dboxes lol

Anyway since he called me a liar I guess I'll just have to take REAL pics of my dbox singles and post a new thread so people don't think I suck like gokuden...

To be honest,Funimation has no good reason to lie about this. I've always thought that Toei didn't give them the Dragonbox footage. Maybe Toei wil give them to them after the GT Singles are released.

Sure they do... $$$$$$$$$$$

And I highly doubt Toei is 'withholding' any footage that some $$$$$$$$$$$ couldn't clear up.

Both Toei and FUNImation are not really our buddies that want to provide the best possible DBZ experience for us. They want to provide the best DBZ experience to us that will make them the most money. The flow of information can change the expectations of consumers, which in turn can affect how they'll spend their money. It can be in FUNI's best interest to withhold information if it serves their purpose (as has been seen in the past).

Maybe Funimation feels they should not have to pay more for undamaged footage.

Rather they shouldn't have to pay more than the money they spent on their own "remastering process." If that had cost more than the DBox footage, they would have just gotten the DBox footage.

Gokuden actually stole his videos from milieu and various other users. But he's been losing subscribers because I sent PM's to a bunch of his subscribers telling them that he's lying about everything.

Gokuden is a liar... I've caught him red-handed with lies time and time again...
