Here's an update on my sprites. I actually forgot to give her a tail in my last upload. After I realized my omission, I got to thinking about how her tail would move. If it were too sporadic, it would be obnoxious to watch. But if it just stayed still, it'd seem like a stiff decoration rather than a lifelike limb. I'll have to see these in action to get a feel for how to use them properly.
Now, you may be thinking, "Why does a Universe 6 Saiyan have a tail?" Don't worry about it. That wasn't an oversight. I think the anime and manga differ on this, but in one of them (the anime, I believe), Cabba implied that U6 Saiyans used to have tails, but that they were lost many years ago. If that's true, then it goes to reason that every once and a while, a Saiyan with a tail would still be born. It's just highly unlikely and requires two parents who carry the same recessive tail gene. In the story for an RP I used this character in, there was this evil group of cult-like Saiyans called the Saiyabans (from the Japanese "yaban," meaning savage or uncivilized) who have been purposefully inbreeding to create tailed Saiyans within their community. Pikruel here is a result of that.
Next challenge is to make her face sideways. That hair will have to be drawn again from another angle. Well, in Buu's Fury, characters' left facing sprites are just mirrored versions of the right facing sprites, so I think I have permission to cheat a little. lol
