Well, from pictures, videos and reviews, I think I get the basic of the game. You have your life-bars, something above your life-bars, not sure about those... The bars below the life-bars, farthest from the portraits, looks like the Ki bars... The one next to the portraits with the small icons in them, looks like a selection of Special Attacks for you to use. On the bottom of the screen looks like the Street Fighters version of the 'Attack-till-you-fill-it-up-so-you-can-use-an-Ultimate-Attack' bar. The graphics are fine, they are awesome! But I hope 'Over 9000' will not be in the english version, please... And BT4, I am not sure, come on, is there any series that gone pass it's 3rd run yet? So I am not believing till I hear actual prove from Spike.

We'd better get a BT4, and if not, this had better head for the Wii as well, or I will be severly pissed.

Actually, even if this heads to the Wii, I still want BT4 as well, cuz I prefer the Sparking! series. It just feels more like DBZ to me.

I think it's probably that you didn't meet the requirements for it to happen, or whatever.
No well see that's the thing. I chose Yamcha as an assist for Krillin who was the Com but I didn't get to choose one myself. So if it was going to happen, the Com should have done something, but in my case it didn't.

Again, I didn't go in there with an, "I must get every detail of this game.", rather, "Oh wow, short line, looks fun, why the hell not?"

Oh. Hmm...I guess it's like what you said then, they may just not have had it set up completely yet. Also, didn't you say that other systems had different things for testing on them? Maybe one of them worked better with that. My only other theory is that you said the AI for the com wasn't too smart, so maybe it was to stupid to call on Yamcha. :?

LOL, my outlook would've been a mixture of the two, but primarily the first one. I'm just that nerdy. :D

In the trailer...why is Playstation 3 in parenthesis but X-Box 360 isn't?

I really hate to stray off-topic, but why are people racing to get a PS3? I'm not bias to either console but unless the PS3 has games that you want, it's very damn expensive.

For everyone who wants a higher quality version of the trailer, you can download it on the official site under "news". I'm having trouble watching it, and I can't download the actual file, just a playlist, but I watched it on my sister's new computer just fine. If someone could figure out how to download the actual file and post how here, I'd aprechiate it. :D

By the way, I'm hoping for them to really pull off something dynamic this time around; after seeing that gut-punch twice in the trailer, I'd started to feel slightly disappointed. Sure, I'm looking forward to it, but hell, not even the gauges and what-not seem to be all that engaging, but those hardly change the gameplay.

The in-game graphics look infinitely superior to the Sparking openings, lol.

Nice models, superior shading and awesome effects! Indeed.
But the (ingame) animations... Look at those kicks. They don't look like DBZ at all. I knew it. It'll be just a Budokai 4 with damn good graphics.
My only hope now is, that at least every character has its own animations and basic moves (and of course a really good fighting-engine and not this shit in the Budokai series). Then I'd be able to ignore this Budokai-esque animation bullcrap. But knowing Dimps, that will not be the case. -_-

At least the new song is pretty cool.^^

What do you mean when the kicks don't look like "DBZ kicks"?

I personally think the game looks great, and am definitely welcoming back Dimps, as I'm tired of Sparking!'s crappy stiff models.

I guess its safe to say that all DBZ game series' end at 3. This game will probably go up to the Cell saga.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

If it goes up to cell saga I will probably pass.
It is so sad to never get Majinbuu cutscenes.

I was waiting to get like ten diferent outfit gokus.
That won´t happen, right?

I guess the final version will be better than what we're seeing from the trailer. Although I have nothing against the graphics I'm seeing, it's cool.

EDIT: Did someone notice that vegeta's voice is diffrent from the anime or is it just me?

No, it's not.

Right here.

It was first mentioned in this thread in this post.

The way the article is worded by mentioning Burst Limit as a separate game and with Dimps developing Burst Limit but not the Sparking series, I'd think it's a safe bet that Sparking 4 will be coming and it'll be a seperate deal from Burst Limit.

The game looks good, but that's about it for me. I guess i'm too used to the Sparking series to go back. I play Budokai 3 GH every now and again, but Burst Limit just looks like Budokai 1 with reallly good graphics. If i could afford a PS3,i would have to play a demo before actually buying the game.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
