It wouldn't be the 1st time DBS steals from DBZ, so I wouldn't be that surprised.

I won't hold my breath on this movie, BoG and RoF had terrible story worthy of fanfiction.

This new one has a new saiya-jin as the main villain, nothing new, they don't even try anymore.

But about the SS3 Kēfura rumor, I would be glad with anyone else besides Goku defeating the main villain.

[spoiler]Other rumors are circling that Bulma flies her Capsule Corp ship into the new Saiyan, doing damage. Then little Trunks and Vegeta get to redo the father son galick-Ho combo. Goku won't be able to outdo family time cause he is on the ground clutching his chest from UI strain. Ultimately, the Saiyan is defeated due to Piccolo beam cannoning him in the back. Distracting him from Vegeta and son and they defeat him with a final push of power.[/spoiler]

Both kid Trunks and Piccolo doing something? That sounds like desperate fan wishful thinking if I have ever seen it.

This is Goku's movie, the producer more or less even said so.

I think the argument is more that Goku always gets the dub or the final, most important fight while everyone else gets the shaft and Vegeta gets the job. I’m still pissed at what they did for RoF. Having a neutral character that ins’t supposed to interfere reverse time just for Goku to get that dub after they were teasing Vegeta gettin the dub. Classic Trolliyama.

In ROF the caricature became that accented it was actually funny. Vegeta getting the final big boss fight whilst surpassing Goku: chances of that are as big as Master Roshi never becoming horny again.

Does the RF situation count as a win? Sure, he technically lost his fight with Freeza, but that was only because of a sneak attack by Sorbet, and Goku was still ultimately the one who got the kill.

You're not supposed to understand things that don't make sense. In fact when compared to other shonens, Dragon Ball actually has the balls to make the main character lose or give up. Not many shonens have it.

RoF and ToP totally failed at giving a real sense of "those characters are actually helpful" for the most part.

BLEACH also has many writing mistakes, but if there's something BLEACH beats DB easily, is that they give the other characters time to shine.

BLEACH doesn't need a tensionless tournament, they deliver a bad guy that has an army, every "hero" has to be present since everyone is necessary.

And even though Ichigo is the main character he has received great help against the main villain 2 times, this shows how desperate those occasions were.

Also, let's not forget Gohan defeated Vegeta and Cell, so IDK why anyone would be surprised by many asking the same thing for other characters.

There’s a giant banner for the DB Super movie at Anime Expo. There’s definitely going to be some news about the movie there. I’m speculating that they’re going to announce the release date for it in the US.
