“Cat loves food, yeah yeah yeah yeah!”
That would be "Mondo Cool" like "Krillin's in Da House".

Jokes aside, I like that Super's english dub is featuring this kind of nostalgic fanservice and I really hope there are more of these references in the future.
A little too late but yeah, I've been officially active in Kanzenshuu for ten years :)

Oh boy, I'm so excited for Episode 70 to air! This is one of my favorite episodes in Super, and seeing it dubbed is gonna be glorious. And the next one is also gonna be great because it'll be the return of Matthew Mercer as Hit.

Hopefully Scott McNeil so the Super dub will have had the two best Ocean dub cast members.

Yes I like this aspect of the dub too. It really makes being a fan of the English dub for so long feel rewarding.

I mean, if you think about it, "Cat loves food, yeah yeah yeah yeah!" is basically the plot of Super. They were ahead of the game on that one.

I think it's a combination of the fact that Dr Slump itself is way more accessible now than it was when Dragon Ball was first being dubbed and the fact that that this episode was so full of in jokes it was impossible to pretend Arale was unique to Dragon Ball this time

Man, I don’t like how they handled the line from Yancha about Chiaotzu/Tenshinhan. I usually don’t nitpick about sub vs dub line discrepancies, but that one was a little disappointing.

I find it a bit odd Chris Sabat and the other VAs didn't try to advertise this episode on Twitter, especially him.

How was it different to the true script? It's been ages since I saw that version of the episode so not sure at all. From a dub perspective though wasn't it a funny throw back to how Tien didn't invite Yamcha to the Ressurection F Fight?

Holy shit

Anyway Super's dub has been pretty hit and miss for me so far, but just having an English version with a familiar voice cast just makes the show way more watchable IMO.

God, Yamcha got roasted left and right in this episode. I don't remember him getting roasted this much in the sub version.

Yamcha : "You can't beat me at this"
Vegeta : "It's a shame you believe that"

Lol you gotta love Chris Sabat

They revised the dialogue for the DVD?

That “It’s time to make the doughnuts” line did not fit at all. I get that they were referencing what he said in Xenoverse 2, but c’mon. It ruined a really cool and serious moment.

Memes rule the dub, it seems. Guess we'll be hearing Broly's Power is Maximum jokes in the next movie too.
