Not sure what linking a few videos means about fanbase size. Also I seem to recall that one of the issues with lating and/or South America was some laws regarding violence in media. Hence why the script for the original series was completely rewritten and made into more of a comedy to appease the broadcasting networks.

BoG and RoF both had fighting, but very little, if any, death. Aside from Freeza murdering his own goons in a flashy explosion. North America doesn't have that issue. Also, in comparison, this new movie is a whole different beast from the last two in terms of budget, production quality and length. If sources are to be believed, they've had to cut out a lot from this movie just to keep it feature length. I can only hope we get a directors uncut version with the Blu-Ray release.

Mexican here, I have no idea what are you talking about violence in media. We got (and in consequence all of Latin America) the series completely uncensored and unedited from the original Japanese, with our dub being even more faithful and accurate to the original than anything the US got. Hell, pressure from the fans was such that forced Fox (distributor of DB's movies here) to get the original dub cast for BoG and RoF, Goku's latin american dub actor was the first one to reveal the release of DBS: Broly in Latin America as well.

Either way, I wouldn't use a view count to suggest a larger fan base. It just says how many times the video has been watched. TFS episodes have seen over 10million views. That doesn't mean that all views were from North American residents or that the same individual didn't watch it multiple times, which raises the viewed counter. The IGN dub trailer for Broly has been viewed around 5million times in less than 2 days. Whereas the Toei japanese trailer is around 1.5mil. Neither one means that only Japanese fans watched the their trailer and only Americans watched the IGN dub. Especially given the number of reaction videos, break down videos and so on of people watching both dub/sub and japanese trailers to get every detail they can.

That planet is just gorgeous. It could be Planet Vegeta, or Sadala considering there’s the huge moon there. It could also be the planet where Broly has lived all this time. Maybe New Vegeta - Toriyama is taking lots of elements from the first movie and New Vegeta was very important there.

"A more fascinating Broly" hmmm... That got me really interested on it, probably a response from Toriyama to fans who think Broly will only smash and scream "Kakarotto" the whole movie.

So is Freeza literally dumb enough to try and attack Earth again right after the TOP when he just saw Goku go Ultra Instinct and knows how powerful he is in general? And since we know Broly backfires on Freeza, are Goku/Vegeta just going to allow Freeza to escape to space again instead of finishing him off? Freeza is still evil so I don't know why they're letting him roam the universe again.

Uh, did you got the leaked movie or something? We don't any of that. I don't think Freeza is coming to Earth to attack a third time and yes to collect the Dragon Balls, then Goku and Vegeta come to stop him and meet Broly.

By the way, is Takao Koyama also credited for this movie? Toriyama-san re-imagining it or not but Koyama-san invented all that stuff so he also this time should get his own "original creator" credit because of Broly and certain plot lines. Being Akira Toriyama does not override who made these things in the past. This movie should be have a "based on characters by Akira Toriyama and Takao Koyama".

What doesn't make sense is since we know the entire main cast can sense power levels, why is nobody showing up when Broly comes to Earth? You'd think Gohan would at least fly their with Piccolo, I can understand Krillin, or even 18,17, etc. staying behind. Or Buu just doesn't care.

So I think Gohan isn't going to be shown much (if at all) in this movie because Broly is in the elderly tier. With the history of the Saiyans storyline, it just feels right for Broly to be the opponent of the likes of Vegeta, Goku and Freeza. The OGs. And even Piccolo at that point. Gohan kind of feels like the middle generation after Goku's and Goten and Trunks are the next generation. So there isn't much appeal to the writers to script Gohan vs Broly when they have no link in history.

Anyway, I mentioned this before but I thought it was interesting that they said something about Broly's power(don't remember the exact verbatim) and then it ended on a close up on his tail shortly afterwards. Could his tail be a source of his power? I think it would be interesting if Broly closely aligns himself with his Saiyan heritage to where he berates Goku and Vegeta for not having their tails anymore and for breeding with Earthlings. Something along the lines of "You aren't' true Saiyans anymore" or something to that effect.

Buu falling asleep again would be pathetic, not even sad at this point. At this point Toriyama should just literally kill Buu off or have him fuse with Uub permanently like in GT if he has no plans to do anything with him.
