Sorry for getting the spelling of Goku's best buddy in high school incorrect. I really should have memorized it from the one time I read it. I’m sure there is no excuse for getting such a vital characters name wrong. He did appear so much in the manga and anime.

Neptune...did I miss something? I was saying your post was funny, I don't think you spelled it wrong. By "where do they come up with this stuff," I meant the writers who created the new character. Sorry for the confusion...? lol

Personally, I think that seems like the best idea because it's like there's nothing left for anyone to do except pit their opinions against eachother. It might turn out more productive that way.

Okay well I have stuff to talk about in regards to the movie I suppose. I have a list of predictions of little details that may be in this movie. It will be fun to see this topic later when the movie is released and see if I am right.

1. One of Piccolos "Namekian ninja's" will betray him and join up with Goku.
2. Kami will be in the movie but Piccolo will be the one who explains the Dragonballs origins right before he dies. Opening up for a sequel where Goku must go to Namek to get the second set of Dragonballs and revive everyone whom Piccolo's minions killed.
3. Mai will go past the first movie she will become a main character and slowly go from evil to good.
4. The trio that goes to Namek will be Goku, Random Namekian Ninja and Bulma.
5. They will get to Namek using the spaceship Piccolo came to earth in.
6. They will encounter Mai on Namek where she will be trying to gather the Dragonballs to revive Piccolo.
7. Frieza will be a CGI monster.

If anyone else has a list of guesses I would like to read them.

Edit: I just thought of why Mai would be in the movie! Piccolo is sealed away in a rice cooker. Pilaf Shu and Mai released him right? Well Shu and Pilaf are really too wacky to be in a live action movie, one being a little blue goblin and one being a talking dog. So who is left out of that trio? Mai, she could be the one who frees Piccolo from his prison that Roshi sealed him away in. I think I know why she shape shifts too, she is a bit of a coward and a smart ass so she acts a lot like Oolong but Oolong is a talking pig so he obviously couldn’t be in the movie. So I think Mai might be taking on a double role.

Neptune those were the worst ideas I've ever heard. I doubt the film makers would do such a horrendous thing.

Well if you have better ideas I'd like to hear them. I wouldn't put much past those film makers actually. I just tried to realistically figure out what they would do with the sequel since a lot of the original cast arn't there. I suppose they could go into the Sajin saga for the sequel but I'm wondering if they would want to introduce Tien, Yamcha,Kuririn, Gohan, Vegeta and Nappa all in one movie. If they don't introduce them then it obviously can't be exactly like the show and they would most likely need a new set up for Namek anyway. You really didn’t contribute much to this topic other then bitching anyway so go ahead and give out your ideas.

Neptune, since you asked...

I think they should end the first movie with Piccolo telling Goku he's no better than him, being a murderous alien. Piccolo does not tell him he's a saiyan though.

2nd movie will be the saiyan saga, a 2-3 hour movie with a much higher budget. Goku will be an adult like in the series and have a son, Gohan. Radditz will appear like usually and reveal he is a saiyan. Now, I'm not sure if Piccolo will exist in this movie because I don't know if Piccolo J.R. exists in this adaptation. If not, Goku kills Radditz by himself or with help from Teto (LOL). Goku doesn't die but he learns of Vegeta and Nappa. They train for a few minutes (lol) then the saiyans come. Now we see Vegeta and Nappa fighting all the good guys in the movie, killing them one by one. Goku eventually kills Nappa, but let's Vegeta live like in the series. They learn from Bulma another set of Balls exist in a place called Namek. Hope is not lost.

3rd movie will be the end of the series, the namek and freeza saga. Goku, Gohan (maybe), Bulma, Krillin (or Teto) will go to Namek and learn of Freeza, the most powerful alien in the universe. In this movie, Vegeta slowly becomes good. Ginyu Force does not exist but powerful henchman do.

Spirit bomb may not exist, but Freeza kills Krillin (or Teto) causing Goku to turn Super Saiyan. Goku kills Freeza, but not before Freeza seals Goku's fate in an explosion. Goku dies.

A few seconds before the end credits, we see Freeza's arm twitch in space...

The end.

What good guys? Teto and Goku are the only hero's in the movie. Unless they do decide to introduce a large cast of characters. If not then in your made up synopsis Bulma and Teto live to go on to Namek if that’s the case Nappa really couldn't kill anyone. But despite that small detail those were some good ideas. I based mine off of the fact that the movie producers seemed not to really be using too much of the source material so they were bound to change a lot up.

Yamcha exists, Tien will likely exist, Master Roshi is a hero but he dies in the first movie, Piccolo MAY exist. We don't know.

I think Kuririn would be more likely to exist before those two. I think he outranks Yamcha and Tien by far. Although I could see Bulma having some random boyfriend who is introduced in the sequel that turns out to be Yamcha. I'm not exactly sure how they would fit Tien in though. I think Piccolo Jr. will be in, it fits on a movie level to have the old villain return stronger then ever.

I think you need to get caught up on the news.

Joon Park will be playing Yamcha in the first movie. He DOES exist.

Tein will likely exist since he isn't a midget so he is more believable.

Ah I see, I wonder if he will be playing Bulma's boyfriend or if that detail will be striked from the movie. Thanks for the update.

On the terms of Tien being more believble I have seen many midgets in my life but nobody with three eyes.
