The problem with going past EOZ from a story perspective is what is Toriyama supposed to do with Goku and Vegeta? They're still alive and haven't even reached their limit yet so trying to focus on the new generation when those two guys are still getting stronger seems like it'd be counter productive to what fans truly want, which is to explore the multiverse and see more badass new characters.

This isn't like Boruto where Naruto and Sasuke's stories are done and we're now focusing on the development of their children along with the advancement of technology in the Narutoverse.

Good point, Hm.... Well we got to get to EOZ somehow. And go past it. We can stay in this 10 year bubble, we are almost reaching the mid way point, which is 5 years. Once 5 years hit after buu, it's implied goku never sees bulma (and vegeta?) until the TOURNMENT 5 years later.
Dragon ball is good at making good story lines so I won't find it a problem if they go plats EOZ. Show goku training uub and pan. You know, many possibilities you could go.

Super already had multiple small time skips through out, with the biggest one being about a year. I don't think we'll get a big one that just places us smack dab at EoZ, but I do think we will continue to work our way up to it and then pass it.

Well it depends. Right now in the top, of only takes place at max 4 years after buu. So we are one year away before that 5 year mark when bulma says she hasn't seen goku in 5 years (5 years! That's along time when you think about. I guess their friendship is more of being comrads that actual family friends). So I think this broly will be the last arc until we reach uub.

Buu was in Age 774, Battle of Gods was in Age 778, The ToP was in Age 780 and the EoZ is in Age 784.

They are not retconned.
The Ages for Buu and EoZ have long since been know and been in guide books, F still has to take place in 779 because of Pan's birth, Age 779 for the Champa arc and the Future Trunks arc come from Xenoverse 2, then we know the ToP is one year after the Champa arc which is 780, which also lines up with Bra's existing birth date.

I would hope that eventually we get after the end of Z because the story would benefit immensely by stepping into uncharted territory instead of staying into this 10 years period.
I understand why they wanted to milk such a huge time gap, and it makes sense, but we can’t stay forever there.

If Super or another series returns to TV they should definitely go past the EoZ. However, if they were going to do a next-gen story they would have to kill off Goku and Vegeta, since them still being around in such a story would lead to the problems we see in Boruto.

I'm gonna need you to give me an actual page number and an accurate chapter number. Goku and Trunks don't spar in chapter 14 and I don't see what you're saying before they spar in chapter 15.

EDIT: Found the page and also checked something else to make sure.
In the Viz translation he says MORE than 10 years, which is true (12 years to be exact), but a bad fan translation said "it's been 10 years".
Check your sources before you get attitude next time.
