It's something that needs to immediately have its context explained literally right alongside its original notation if you're going to point it out at all. Saying "Some media" and leaving it at that is. not. sufficient. holy. fucking. shame. on. you.

What I'm reading is like a dumbed-down version of (forgive me for equating it here, but it's the best example I can come up with before my third coffee) the conservative base's weaponization of morality against the left. They're using our (well, actually, like, MY) own "canon" definition back against me. It's this total charade of "objectivity", and it's totally transparent. It's the Dragon Ball information gatekeeper version of political centrist nonsense.

Just leave well enough alone. There's no point.

What annoys me is that just because there's no canon doesn't mean there isn't a way to approach this information, or to form a Top Trumps sort of thing. Manga trumps all, and what actually appears in the products trumps anything from pomo magazine fluff pieces unless Toriyama said it after and wasn't being forgetful. And of course Japan information trumps US information. It's really not that difficult to figure out.

But yeah, you're right Mike. The site is quarantined. I intermittently get annoyed about it but eventually realize it needs a complete upheaval of the administration to ever become useful, and that's not happening. No point in getting up in arms about it I suppose

Kanzenshuu has been working on a wiki for a while. Of course it'd be intensely focused on the Japanese side of the franchise, but I'll take that over the dumpster fire that is the DB Wikia.
