What do these titles have to do with each other?

I'm with you Sun_Wukong, I'll probably end up watching and buying both, but The Forbidden Kingdom is looking way better than the Dragon Ball movie at this point.

Besides...it's got Jackie Chan and Jet Li! What more do you need?

I'll see and probably enjoy both, but I'm anticipating Dragon Ball more, and think it will be just as good, and probably more successful.

From what I can see, Forbidden Kingdom will be amazing ( Jet Li AND Jackie Chan?! ) The Dragon Ball live action movie sounds and is looking to be a waste of time.

I'm with you, I think I'll have a good time at both. Both sound fun, I love these new martial arts movies like Forbidden Kingdom, but I'm looking forward to Dragonball more because I'm curious about how it'll turn out. I'm reserving my judgments on whether or not it'll be any good until I actually see it for myself. I'm going to give it a chance and see both.

Is Forbidden Kingdom coming to the US?

I'm looking forward to both. And the only reason that I think FK will be better is because:
1)Jackie Chan and Jet Li(I mean really, what more do you need?)
2) Movies based on stuff like anime/stuff like that(especially live action) don't tend to fare well nowadays(There are exceptions, I know.)

But I can't be for sure yet. I hope they are both good!

Jackie Chan and Jet Li are over the hill. I'm sick of both actors. I'd rather check out some new blood.

Gonna have to agree. Never really liked Jackie Chan, and lately I'm sick of Jet Li.

Movie could be good though we'll see.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Didn't Jet Li say that one movie( I can't remember the name, but if you know the answer, you'll know what I'm talking about) would be his last one?

He said that Fearless would be his last "Wushu epic" movie.

From all the info we've been shown thus far for the two films, I can easily say that I'm anticipating the Forbidden Kingdom. :)

Forbidden Kingdom.

At least it's close to it's source material.

Forbidden Kingdom. Jet Li, Jackie Chan, and Journey to the West. Sounds like what the DBZ movie was going to be a long time ago when FUNi was making polls about it.

On the website? Hell, I remember suggesting Jackie Chan as Goku in second grade!
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
