Battle Theme?

Battle Theme?
All I need is the name (a DL would be nice too) of the song that plays all the time during fights. It plays all throughout the series, I think. It plays during movie one when Piccolo and Goku fight Garlic Jr's big form, and almost in every episode during a fast fight scene. Any ideas? (By the way, I'm looking for the original score, not Faulconer.)

You're not going to get downloads of music that's readily available on CD, here.Jakatsu wrote:All I need is the name (a DL would be nice too) of the song that plays all the time during fights. Pick up the recent 3-CD DBZ BGM Collection (CDJapan / Play-Asia / Amazon).
If it's in DBZ movie 1 (and I think I know the piece you're speaking of), it's certainly in there, along with a buttload of other music you probably want.

Music composed specifically for individual movies appear on their soundtracks under a track named for that specific movie. DBZ movie 1 is simply called "Dragon Ball Z", and the track that contains its specific BGM is called "Dragon Ball Z" (well, 「ドラゴンボールZ」).Jakatsu wrote:Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, but I can't really pick out the specific song I'm looking for from there. Is there anyway I could at least get a name?

Most of the music in the series was originally made for the movies, so you'll most likely find it on that track. I know that there is a pretty common battle-theme on that track, though I can't say for sure if it's the one you were thinking of.Jakatsu wrote:I don't think it was composed for Movie one, because it shows up all throughout the series.

I wouldn't phrase it that way.Vegard Aune wrote:Most of the music in the series was originally made for the movies, so you'll most likely find it on that track. I know that there is a pretty common battle-theme on that track, though I can't say for sure if it's the one you were thinking of.
Let's say that a lot of music that was originally composed for specific movies ended up getting re-used in the regular TV series after its debut in that movie. For example, the BGM used near the end of DBZ movie 1 when the Dead Zone is sucking everything in is the same BGM used when Goku goes Super Saiya-jin for the first time. Movies 1, 6, 7, and 8 are ones most notable in my memory that have music re-used later in the regular TV series.

I've already explained to you what the "name" of the song is and where you can find it.Jakatsu wrote:I finally found the song, does anyone know the name of it?
