Luckily, we won't have to wait too much longer, since Kaiser said in last Friday's Stream Four Star Twitch stream that he's editing together Part 3 right now. We're so close to finally getting the final episode of Season 3, guys!
The epic tale of how Sean Schemmel blocked me on Twitter:
I tagged him in a thread explaining how his performance wasn't rerecorded when FUNi were redoing parts of the early Z dub for the Orange Bricks.
He thought I was misrepresenting his work by saying he wasn't in something he was in.
I explained how that wasn't the situation & did a bit of a sarcastic kinda thing involving the rerecordings FUNi did for the Z dub to show how stupid that was.
He said they didn't record him & not use his recordings.
Blocked & he deleted his response tweets to me.
???
Profit...?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Great! Just more two to go now.
I thought that there were only going to be 3 parts to this finale?

Where have I heard hopeful yet anxious anticipation like this before...? Oh yeah.
I love you Kaiser I know it's coming.
Still, the comparison isn't a million miles away. DBZA has now been running longer than the original broadcast of DB and DBZ! That's mind-blowing. But this is all done by fans who don't profit from the episodes and whose schedules have no doubt become increasingly difficult to co-ordinate over time, so it is by no means the same kettle of fish.

I can't stress enough how incredible it is that these guys are still doing this shit. Like, goddamn, I was a painfully awkward kissless 13-year-old schoolboy when I started watching this thing. 99.6% of supposed "long-term" fan projects fizzle out after a year or two at most, so the fact that we still have DBZA - and that it's evolved and improved to the point that it has better writing and production values than most professional animated/comedy shows - is amazing. It's a testament to both the inexplicable power Dragon Ball holds over its fans, and the loving dedication of everyone involved with TFS that we're still salivating over the thought of the next episode.
Party on, boys. Party on.
(Sorry, I'm a little drunk and therefore sentimental and felt like I needed to balance out the GRRM comparison with effusive text-fellatio.)

This is actually incredible. I too was literally an awkward schoolboy when I first discovered this series. Life has moved on so much, and so has DBZA, it's evolved into something I would never have imagined.
It makes sense then that for so many people DBZA is literally a part of Dragon Ball for them. We grew up with DBZ during our childhoods and DBZA throughout adolescence. It probably played a big role for a lot of people in keeping them interested in Dragon Ball throughout that cringey teenage phase of acting like a grown up before they were old enough to watch cartoons again.

Actually, the KC Grand Prix is part of Season Five along with the Memory Arc.
But yeah, either way, one more episode left.
I'm pretty sure we're going to get Episode 60 before then.
Depends on if LK gets the next episode out in September or October (since he's been doing an episode once every 2 months for the last few years, minus the last few episodes, which were once every 3) & when Kaiser gets finally finished with this next one for DBZA. I imagine it's not gonna take too much longer, since he's on Part 3 right now, but you never know.

Well, we're getting Part 1 of episode 60 this friday, so...
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.
