Why can't we all just get along, and be a little more polite. Seriously.
Anyway, just a heads up for anybody who is interested in further discussion regarding the Dragonball film; Superherohype's forum has a Dragonball section up now.

Nothing major. Just little tidbits from the actors' blogs and such; not really revealing anything that we don't already know.

Darn. Oh well, I'll survive until more info is revealed.

Shooting starts (or resumes) January 14th and not the 7th which was stated previously. Expect lots of info that week... I hope.

After intense researching, I have discovered "Teto" is a code name. The character is actually named Johnny Blaze.

Nuh-UH!
...you sure you didn't make that up? Because that sounds like a hilariously fake name.
It's "Johnny Blaze!"

I thought it was a joke, I didn't know it was a reference. ^_^;;

I stand by the fact that this movie would be at least 300% cooler if one of the characters was a leather-clad, fire-covered spirit of vengeance, however.

Does it disturb anyone that despite being one of the longest running plot devices we haven't heard jack shit about the Red Ribbon Army?

Ya know, although the red ribbon army is probably the longest running villain through out the entire series, DB- GT, I guarantee there are some people who have no clue that the Androids and Cell, were created by the Red Ribbon Army, well, not directly but you get my point.

Thats right, not all of us speak english as our main language.
Well, this
is an English speaking board. I would expect on a French board they would expect you to type in proper French. Same with a Spanish or Italian or Japanese board. And if English isn't your first language you can use the board here as a learning chance to get better at using it because, honestly, what's the point in knowing it if you don't know it right?

Why would they refrence the RRA at all? They're not going to be in the movie, and it's quite likely they wont be in the trilogy at all. I'd expect the trilogy to be Piccolo, Saiya-jins, and Freeza. So there's no reason to mention the RRA aside from just simple name droping. And that'll just be something that happens the movie, not something important enough to warrant mention in press releases or the like.

So, if shooting isn't starting until the 17th, then the chance of this getting a trailer during the Superbowl is pretty much out of the question, huh? I had heard that Fox was slated to reveal a trailer for an unspecified upcoming movie during the Superbowl. I suppose it will be Night at the Museum 2.

I'll be relieved if it's "Night at the Museum 2". The Superbowl's an actual event at my house; I don't want to have to explain all this live-action-dbz-movie-madness to those who'd inevitably ask me. >_>

Full-length trailers aren't typically made until production has finished. One could expect a teaser, but that's about it.
