Interesting What Ifs

Hey guys, I just had some random ideas that I thought would make an interesting discussion.

First of All, I always hated that Mr. Toryiama, let some of his coolest characters fade away in Z. For example, Yamcha, Chaotzu, Tien, Lunch, and even Krillin to some extent. And Instead of using these characters more efficiently, we had other characters put upon us, who I just don't think were as cool.

Anyway, here are a few of my ideas that I think could have been cool that Toryiama ditched for more SSJs.

First of all, where the hell did Lunch go, I mean seriously, other than filler she seemed to have been completely written out. But why? How awesome would it have been if She went to Namek with Krillin, Bulma and Gohan. That would have been cool, and it would have made for some hilarious scenes.

Second, instead of making the human fighters worthless, Toryiama should have used the fusion technique with them. Like Tien and Krillin fusing, or Yamcha and Krillin, or Yamcha and Tien. I know these were touched on in games, but its an obvious way to make humans worth something again, and it would have been an opportunity to create some cool fusion characters. I mean Gotenks is ok, but I think SSJ to a bunch of Kids should have been enough.

Well, anyway, that's two of my ideas, I was wondering if anyone else had any cool ideas for characters who seemed to be pushed to the wayside.

Fusion technique doesn't come around until the Buu Saga, and by then, nothing the humans do is gonna make them not useless.

I think you are missing the point. My point is that the characters didn't have to be worthless. I mean, this is a piece of fiction, so Toryiama could have easily made the humans more effective.

As for the Lunch thing. I know bullets wouldn't do much. I said that it would be hilarious though. It's not like Bulma did much other than bring the dragon radar.

Heh, tactically having someonelike Lunch on Namek would have been a good idea. And, given that she's spent over half a decade chasing Ten only to have him die in battle... makes sense in terms of motivation. And it seems rather certain that had she been there, Toriyama would have done some pretty entertaining stuff with her role. XD.
(... I want to write this, now. ).

The "Shafted Humans Society" really needs an OVA or something.
You'd think maybe Yamcha and Krillin would have been able to attempt the fusion dance after watching Goten and Trunks practice it and being more forms-oriented martial artists. Granted, I don't think they're close enough in size to pull it off... but they could have like, gone off to find Ten and Chaozu and at least been a little less useless when Buu came out to eat everyone... Meh.

Mike seems to be on the rampage lately, so I didn't post this, but this goddamn moron is clearly missing the point of the thread in general. Humans with fusion in the story I've thought of before and would have like to have seen it. Lunch to Namek would have been better than Bulma to Namek I think. They really didn't need her for anything there, although they claimed it was to fly the ship.

She challenges him and seeing the fighting spirit in her, he invites her to come at him. She then sneezes and he's a bit freaked by the sudden frail girl. Vegeta wonders if all women change like that when sneezing and in a later cut-scene at Kame House, Bulma sneezes and he freaks out, saying he has to go. X3
