Wikipedia has Jet Li credited as Sun Wukong.

I really wish I could be more excited for Forbidden Kingdom, since the trailer has such a regal sense to it. I'm just not, though.
Maybe it's the quotes of both Jackie Chan and Jet Li expressing a certain degree of disappointment in the movie, a quote having been circulated by Jackie Chan that it was made 'with an American audience in mind' (Which for some reason doesn't instill with me patriotic pride), or the fact that the perspective of the film looks to be centered around the white kid from Sky High.
I'm reminded of Warriors of Virtue, in the premise of a white kid finding himself somehow teleported to a Chinese Kung fu world.

Then again, I've never had any particular fondness for any of Jackie Chan's or Jet Li's American films.
I don't intend to go see this in theaters, but I might give it my attention when it's free on HBO, or some other similar movie channel...

As for Dragonball, I can't say I won't go to see it in theaters until it's closer to release, but I'm definitely more inclined to go out of my way for this movie, purely out of fandom.
And thanks to that fandom, I've had a much stronger (morbid) interest in this movie than most.

Jackie Chan and Jet Li, 2 of my favorite actors. I'm really anticipating this FK movie. :P

Heh heh, I remember Warriors of Virtue. I liked it when I was little, but that's cuz I was little. Watch it, a little TMNT, some Power Rangers, a Godzilla film or two, and my day was complete. :D

Except for Warriors of Virtue (because unfortunately I do not think it is on DVD :( ), that sounds like my last weekend
Jackie Chan and Jet Li are over the hill. I'm sick of both actors. I'd rather check out some new blood.
Egads. You just made enemies out of every martial arts fan alive.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Guess he'll be sick of himself as well when he looks in the mirror one day and proclaims himself as being 'over the hill'.

Just teasing. :D
