Did Goku hit chi-chi through the house on purpose?

Did Goku hit chi-chi through the house on purpose?

Did Goku intentially hit his wife through the house because he was so serious about Gohan training with him? Or was it simply a mistake because he was pumped up by being in outerspace? I could see it going either way...

Um no it was totally an accident. He said it was an accident and the motion he used to do it is similar to patting someone on the back but he used a bit too much force.

Not to be rude but it's an in universe discussion so a gag isn't really a gag in universe she was probably shocked to say the least...

I thought that it was supposed to show the audience how strong Goku had gotten during the Frieza Saga and during the time he spent on Yardrat
