Japanese audio from Funimation Singles
Japanese audio from Funimation Singles
Is there any value/pros to these? Or are they completely worthless?

Almost entirely worthless.
IIRC, Z movie 13's DVD single uses a good-quality mono mix that isn't really available elsewhere, but the DBox version is a better-sounding stereo mix, so... A neat curiosity, but nothing more.

The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

On the topic of the funimation singles, If one were interested in the best quality of the original funimation dub, then the ac3's from the funimation single iso's would be the best right?

From what I've heard, either the US FUNi or Madman release are pretty much the same, so either are a good option. Though for some reason, "Guardian's Return" on the US release has a Dual mono track for the FUNi dub while Madman had its correct Stereo track, no idea how that happened.boobychan wrote:On the topic of the funimation singles, If one were interested in the best quality of the original funimation dub, then the ac3's from the funimation single iso's would be the best right?

Thank you. I recently ripped all the audio from the funimation singles iso's. I made a thread in the fan-project section to share with anyone who was interested in them for their own projects, but it got deleted. Are we allowed to share official funi stuff here or is that against the rules?BluezaBladeNZ wrote:From what I've heard, either the US FUNi or Madman release are pretty much the same, so either are a good option. Anything officially released is a no-go. It's piracy, and this site is not for piracy.boobychan wrote:Thank you. I recently ripped all the audio from the funimation singles iso's. You can talk about fan projects all you like, and in the past fan re-scorings and such have been okay if all you link is the audio track(See: Yamamoto Revival), but full episodes and such? 'Fraid not. You'll have to go elsewhere with that.

The audio from DB Movie 4 Single sounds really good too, the rest are pretty much worthless.Robo4900 wrote:Almost entirely worthless.
