Just dropping in for a moment to say I listened to Jake's analysis, and he is spot on. Like to an eerie, hey-stay-out-of-my-head extent. After the whole series finishes airing, I'll try to go into it more, but there was another consideration for using "Top."

After listening to this podcast, I still don't understand Herms' reasoning for using "Toppo", and especially not in pronouncing it toe-poe. I don't see "pot" in there.
