I have no problem at all with Toriyama retconning Minus. He can retcon it as much as he likes with this one!

The New always overrides the Old. And Minus was just a short manga chapter. This is going to be a full blown movie that will reach millions of people and is an official continuation of the ToP written 100% by the legendary man himself!

Just ignore Minus and see this as an entirely new product!

The question will this be better or worse than that chapter?

Broly not going to be a Legendary Super Saiyajin destroys really everything special about his form when it comes to "so this is why he has that and why he is so great". They practically erase Broly if he really is not even mentioned to be something like that. I do not want him to be like Full Power Roshi or Bojack.

That saddens me too... I mean, that's what made Broly, so, but anyway.

It would be extremely disheartening if Legendary Super Saiyan isn't a thing. Without that reason to be different it ain't Broly. Without any reason to be different where do the excessive zenkais and unique transformations come from? He wouldn't be the first character who's special for no reason, but if he's getting his own movie, let's put a theme behind it.

I noticed Jeice in the trailer, but no Captain Ginyu. I guess this means either the Ginyu Force didn't exist at the time of the flashback or Jeice was a later addition to the team.

I just reread Minus and it still pales in comparison to Bardock: Father of Goku. Hopefully they won't focus too heavily on it since I just want to see the new content.

And yeah this i definitely some of the best visuals I've seen since Battle of Gods.

Also why is Vegeta implied to be around Goku and Broly's age? He's like 5 years older than them!

Well, in the bardock special he looks exactly like he does in the frieza saga, despite this being several years prior. I think its just too fix a problem. I love it actually. Before I thought frieza was just a crazy mutant who never seems to age. Now that we see this younger frieza compared to know, he looks much older now and much more mature. I like the characterization they gave him.

Probably because Freeza is supposed to be younger during those sequences.

Bardock wasn't a factor in and out of minus. The guy did nothing but die with his premonitions. Freeza was the highlight as usual.
