Attention for recent newspost

Post by sangofe » Fri Jan 25, 2008 2:01 pm

Someone seem to have hacked the site and the post for what we think about the matter...
Please fix this, EX.

The January 22 post has a link that says "What do YOU think?". It goes to Senator McJillywiggins' intro board post.

... That is quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen all week. x'DDDDDD

Sorry, Mike. I know the hacking or whatever that happened isn't a good thing at all, but I can't help but be amused by the change this guy made. 8D;;
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

I NEED A NEW SIGNATURE D:

Er... I don't think that was a hack... I think that was my own incompetence. I just updated again using the file that I had locally. The link goes to the same place. I probably just copied-and-pasted the wrong link when I made the update, and no-one told me until now.

Unless someone has brute-force access to my hard-drive through a hardware firewall, there are no shenanigans going on.

EDIT: Actually, you're right. My post on the subject has disappeared. Nice.

I know I had a worm on my computer recently that went and disabled my firewall via the registry. The same worm was capable of opening up backdoors for hackers as well, like through mIRC.

Are you sure your computer's safe? D:

It's not a computer thing; it's a forum thing. It'll get fixed up, no worries.

A few days ago, an entire day's worth of posts apparently disappeared from the forums, and I assumed it was some kind of rollback. Maybe that deleted the thread in question, and that intro post was created with its old ID number?

Huh. That wouldn't surprise me. I hadn't even noticed; I wasn't around much this week due to work. Interesting...
