As others have said, he'll get smashed before and after spouting something about pride when he's not whinging about Kakarotto's superiority to him. Also, Vegeta fans will emulate their hero by also whining about how unfairly Vegeta is treated despite the fact he's attained greater power than any other supporting character ever will and by far has the most screen time in the modern run, second only to Goku.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

He will be jobbed and bodied by Broly or he team up with Goku to kill him but I highly doubt that will happen, he will always be the second fiddle.

The hypocrisy in this post is hilarious

So Vegeta will just get bodied and look like a loser but god forbid Vegeta fans may want something more than that because he has a lot of power and screentime but in the end it will amount to nothing according to you except him just getting bodied.

However as a Vegeta fan I really do not see him being the one to beat Broly. That’s ridiculous just like it is ridiculous to think his only purpose should be to job and get bodied. I love how it has to be one extreme or the other in this fandom.

As for what I want from Vegeta I want him to have a good role in the film where he plays his part in saving the day WITH Goku (whatever that may be) & hopefully have some good character moments but no I don’t need him to be the one to ultimately take down Broly. I don’t like Vegeta best as a character because he is the strongest. Frankly I find that a dumb reason to like a character but to each their own.

Vegeta already gets far, far better treatment than the rest of the supporting characters with screen time, new heights attained and yes, even wins interspersed with the jobbing. Just because he doesn't beat the bad guy doesn't make him lesser yet Vegeta fanboys seem to think so. Despite the fact Goku hasn't beaten ANYONE without people helping him since Piccolo Jr.

To be fair, he's a main character by now.

Then let me clarify I also do not think Vegeta is treated badly at all by Toriyama or Toei. Like I said I don’t care that Vegeta doesn’t beat a main villain. Not saying it wouldn’t be nice if it happened but it’s also not a big deal to me like it is for some other fans. Hell I am more hoping for some Vegeta moments with Bulma or his new daughter in the film than him getting some unpredictable big win.

At the same time as for Vegeta’s fighting role I don’t see Vegeta’s role is to just get beaten in an embarrassing way. I certainly wouldn’t like that and if that was his only role in the film then I would be unhappy about it. But this is more how certain people in the fandom perceive Vegeta’s role not how I think Toriyama or Toei treat the character or will treat the character in the film.

This.

Ofc Goku is the posterboy, there's no doubt about it, but Vegeta's role has increased so much that you could even say he is as important as Goku from time to time. At least in the manga version (Toyotaro seems to respect Vegeta more than Toei, tbh) and in the upcoming movie he is the one of three main guys there, so you know - it's kinda stupid to expect Vegeta to just job and that's it. Except the writers have already confirmed that Vegeta is really cool in that movie.

Exactly. Vegeta has won more one-on-one fights than Goku in all of Super and is frequently portrayed as the the more reasonable one of the two (a complete reversal from Z), yet Vegeta fanboys still complain smh. Gohan and Piccolo get treated FAR worse, yet their fanboys don't complain as much. When has Piccolo ever beaten a main villain or even the secondary one? And before the ToP, Gohan hadn't done anything truly impressive since the Cell Games.

And to be fair, Goku did have a few major one-on-one wins in Z (Nappa, Burter & Jeice, 100% Freeza, Yakon), though less so in Super (Botamo, Future Zamasu, Kefla and arguably Limit Breaker Jiren).
