I’d agree but not this time. In fact, I WANT a retelling. Toriyama wrote a script that was so long that they ended up with 3 hours of story boarding. I dont want that to go to waste. They should use it and expand upon everything with a retelling it would be about 13 to 14 episodes.

We could get way more lore, and heck, they could even re-use some animation from the movie to save time while keeping some epic scenes like how some other anime do it.

And we know that the schedule for Super 2.0 will be way better so it won’t be trash quality at all
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie. 8)

- Planet Sadala

- Jiren and his evil-doer

- Universes 13 to 18

- Universes 1, 5, 8, and 12

- End of Z and Uub

- Zalama

- Demon Realm

- Beerus rematch

- Reusing old characters

I will actually be surprise if the Dragon Ball Room doesn’t use at least 3 of these ideas
They would have to be really stupid if they don't use at least one of those ideas.
Tbh. Thats why i hope they have a rep for the Dragon Ball Room meetings who’s job is to browse around and study the online community of the fandom to see what the people want.

I think we are first going to get Sadala after Broly.
I wish. With DBS, each arc never connected with the last. The only connection was the U6 v U7 arc where the Omniking saw it and it lead to the final arc.

With DBZ, the Saiyan saga lead to Namek and then Freeza saga perfectly.

At least have it so that everything mentioned in Super was set up for its second half (Super 2.0).

I hope they give themselves enough time to fix the production issues that haunted the first half of Super. I don't mind at all waiting a couple of months longer for a better show.

DBSuper should be a seasonal anime with a different time slot. That way, they have much more time to produce good art and animation, take more time writing the plots and could get away with more mature content.

For a show like DBS, i dont think it would work like the average seasonal anime

The way i see it is, the average good episode count for an arc is about 25 episodes. Thats the equivalent of a 2 cour (season) anime. For DBS, if it had to be seasonal, I’d see it being about 50 episodes (2 arcs and a little slice of life mixed in) which means its on for 4 seasons straight and then it would go on break for one season and then it comes back with 50 more episodes and then goes on break again. And it continues like that.

Toei Animation is known for doing long running series rather than seasonal anime.

Also, the chances that the time-slot will change are slim as of now.

Something like the Zamasu arc, but with an actual feeling of a threat & not to mention executed much better this time around. The Zamasu arc is the biggest missed opportunity in this franchise next to Revival of F, I don't know how people still kept their jobs tbh. Also not a fan of this self contained episode formula vs an actual saga from Z
