I could see this coming. There's no Japanese term for "canon" specifically, but I was certain that there were ways to express recent, commonly used fan definitions of canon in Japanese.

Doesn't matter about one enjoying it or not. It's about coherency and keeping continuity. The Super manga does it better than the anime.

A known fact? Are you sure you know what that means? Something as inherently subjective as writing quality cannot legitimately be deemed a "known fact" dude. I for one, am of the opinion that the anime has exponentially better writing.

Goku lost it due to UI wearing off. He has not trained enough to wield it properly. However that doesn't change the fact that he accessed it at will on his own twice.

Considering the overall pacing of the ToP, that should work out alright, at least if the "beginning of a new arc" is more of a teaser than an actual beginning. Since it's gonna be the Broly arc but before the movie is officially released, Toyo shouldn't cover too much.
What moments are there left in the ToP anyway? Here's what I can think of:
- Vegeta's elimination
- 17 revealed to be alive
- Goku and Frieza team up to triple-KO with Jiren
- 17 wins, 17 wishes back all universes, Frieza is resurrected
- Return to Earth
- Alive Frieza in U7 space
That's all the "necessary" stuff from the anime that I can think of, in any case. That should be possible to do in ~40 pages, leaving the last few pages for the Broly arc teaser/beginning.

I hope Toyotaro can pull a #131 from the anime and condense the ending into something that's very well streamlined without skipping a character or narrative beat.

I'd have to agree with you almost 100%. Vegeta is probably getting out in the first 5 -10 pages. Then I think Frieza somehow saves Goku from being knocked out. The team up from the anime happens and they eliminate themselfs. And then when everyone thinks it's a draw, #17 appears. It would be cool to see #17 fight but I don't think Toyo can put all of this in not that much pages.

Now what would be great to see is, Vegeta, Goku and Frieza eliminate Jiren and themselfs, so even Vegeta can have his glory at the end of an arc.

Presumably Broly on the 21st of Novemeber. Half the chapter will be the ending of ToP and perhaps a page or two at the end detailing the end of Super (of Goku saying he can't use UI) which will start a new arc I suppose.

It'll be a classic Toriyama "write as I go" sort of storyline where he brings it up way later and just kind of pretends that was the case all along. Just because it wasn't immediately addressed doesn't mean it won't happen. But it will be interesting to see if 17 uses the exact verbatim he used in the anime.

My dream for the finale of the manga:

- Jiren is pushing goku and vegeta back to the edge of the stage, at that point freeza pops up, eliminate the three of them and claims he is the winner of the top, he goes to the bleachers to make his wish, then gran priest reveals he is not the winner, in fact he tells him he is eliminated since he dropped out of the stage, proceeds to announce 17 is the winner. freeza gets angry by not getting his wish, Whis conforts him by resurrecting him. Whis tells him that he was actually the one who ring out Jiren, so his resurrection is a present from Beerus.

Thats my prediction for the end. Goku, Vegeta, Frieza and Jiren gets ringed out together. And then 17 pops up right before both universes gets erased due to a draw.
