I'm not a big fan of the severed 2nd opening. I've seen YouTubers edit better than that

He doesn't speak until ep.97, so I'm not expecting it for a while. Most people seem to assume they'll stick with Seitz, but who knows.PhoenixEX wrote:By the way, does anyone know if they confirmed Jiren's english voice actor yet?
Ah I see. Thank you.Terez wrote:He doesn't speak until ep.97, so I'm not expecting it for a while. Most people seem to assume they'll stick with Seitz, but who knows.PhoenixEX wrote:By the way, does anyone know if they confirmed Jiren's english voice actor yet?

I look forward to seeing him and McCoy work off each other. I’ve always thought that Meredith McCoy’s 18 has better chemistry with Chuck Huber’s 17 compared to Colleen Clinkenbeard’s (no disrespect to her).Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Ahh so great to hear Huber again!Scsigs wrote:So, we got this clip.

Then don't. Politics have no place in this thread. Nor do petty insults based off of them.PhoenixEX wrote:I don't mean to be that guy
just because they're hiring black people now.MrTennek wrote:Funimation now has an obligation to fill in some kind of "diversity quota" to appeal to the politically correct crazies
Realistically, setting diversity quotas in any field isn't really the smartest thing for any company, since you might not be able to fill the quota, or would deny more qualified people of jobs, but FUNi hasn't set one. They've just hired a BUNCH of new actors. FUNi has, in recent years, just hired a lot of new actors in general. I mean, with the amount of characters in One Piece, they've kinda needed to. Here, they just needed to hire a bunch of actors at once rather than gradually over the course of 10 years. They have the capital to do so, so it's not a surprise.Shaddy wrote:That is a fucking rich response coming from the guy who said this:just because they're hiring black people now.MrTennek wrote:Funimation now has an obligation to fill in some kind of "diversity quota" to appeal to the politically correct crazies
Me!!DB_Fan1991 wrote:So who was happy to hear Chuck Huber again as 17?
I doubt FUNi cast black people to please the SJWs. It's more like Sabat is taking advantage of the now bigger talent pool in Dallas.Shaddy wrote:That is a fucking rich response coming from the guy who said this:just because they're hiring black people now.MrTennek wrote:Funimation now has an obligation to fill in some kind of "diversity quota" to appeal to the politically correct crazies
Simmer down and get back on topic. 'kay?Shaddy wrote:That is a fucking rich response coming from the guy who said this:just because they're hiring black people now.MrTennek wrote:Funimation now has an obligation to fill in some kind of "diversity quota" to appeal to the politically correct crazies
Wow. You know what? I’m Glad they have a diversity quota. To be honest, the way they portrayed Killa in the original Funimation dub was absolutely wrong. Instead of making him speak like a normal black person, they made him sound completely illiterate and couldn’t understand a single thing he said. But guys like Mr. Tennek obviously don’t see anything wrong with that. There’s a reason why there’s Affirmative Action. If it was up to individuals to make choices, MOST (obviously not all) people would feel comfortable hiring their own. That’s a fact.Shaddy wrote:That is a fucking rich response coming from the guy who said this:just because they're hiring black people now.MrTennek wrote:Funimation now has an obligation to fill in some kind of "diversity quota" to appeal to the politically correct crazies
Try telling that to the countless others.MrTennek wrote:Then don't. Politics have no place in this thread. Nor do petty insults based off of them.PhoenixEX wrote:I don't mean to be that guy
