Why didn't goku use ss3 vs Beerus in BoG after the god ritual?

When he figured out that he had retained the power of ssg even after losing the form, why not go to his strongest form?

Wouldn't ss3 > ss(post god retained)? If he couldn't get any stronger than then why do we see him using ss2 and ss3 in arcs after BoG?

I can't really think of an In-Universe reason why, but even if he did use SSJ3 in that scene, he still would have gotten his ass kicked so it doesn't really matter.

Well I would think the strain of ss3 would put him at a disadvantage if beerus could hold him off for a while .

Its for both, it still works in Super since goku didn't know how much beerus was holding back. Just makes no sense he wouldn't go FP

Maybe given his stamina only his FPSSJ state was going to be able to endure things?

Plot hole. Head Canon is that using SS2 and SS3 conjunction with the god forms will put strain but that has never been stated the story
