I wouldn't be surprised he would survive and return later on the 'right' side, because he is good at heart. He does not want to fight, it's basically a traumatized guy that has a lot of 'sorrow' who is used.
Those kind of characters don't tend to stay in the Other World forever. Base Broly looks surprisingsly 'gentle' btw.

Yeah. The saiyan trio used to be Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta. I but Broly brings so much more to the table. Heck, i saw someone discuss that maybe Whis is testing Broly’s strength for him to become the next God of Destruction. Both Freeza and now Broly would fit the bill pretty well depending on how much of a fighter Broly really is or if he secretly hates fighting (which would make him even more of the new Gohan).

It would be interesting if Cheelai defied her orders and used the Dragon Balls for Broly's benefit instead of Frieza's. Maybe in the end, she'll wish away the sorrow in Broly's heart, pacifying him.

Wow. I stand corrected. But i still think its dumb to think that Toei or Toriyama would do something like make Broly apart of the main cast. Toriyama is the King of redeeming villains and making them heroes. And unlike Freeza (and even he sort of got some kind of redemption) Broly isn’t a pure evil son of a gun. And plus, Toei would make much more money keeping Broly around

Uub’s potential will be scaled up above Broly. He’s the reincarnation of pure Buu , you can basically make him Broly on steroids, power growth wise and it wouldn’t be crazy

Jokes aside, anything from EoZ that makes reference to "how long ago x thing happened" is already retconned away, Bulma says on it that it's been more than 5 years since the last time she saw Goku, but Goku was around when she gave birth to Bra, and Bra is around a year younger than Pan, and Pan is 4 by EoZ lol, unless they retcon that too, which wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah that was already retconned. Bra is 3 during EoZ and Goku was around when she was born so even if they didn't see each other in those 3 years,(That won't work because Broly willl probably include a time-skip) then it still contradicts Bulma's comment about 5 years.

This may easily end up being the best Dragon Ball ever to me, but that isn't shocking to me because I already hold the last two arcs of DBS in extremely high regard.
