NOTICE: SOUND FILE OF ALL THE VOICES, ORDER BELOW
http://s94388242.onlinehome.us/FINALBOUTVOICES.mp3
THANKS FOR BRENT LONG FOR THE HELP!
Adult Son Goku - Sounds like Steven's doing his Kazuma from s-CRY-ed. Decent, but not exactly a great Son Goku
Pan - Oh holy hell, am I glad this is not her voice in the series. Not to say Lia Sargent isn't a great actress, of course.
Chibi Son Goku - It's cute and it's energetic. I like it, but it might be too... snot-nosed? Either way, Brianne Sidall did a decent job.
Trunks - Henry Douglas Grey sounds a bit too impolite to be Trunks. Not terrible, but not great either. Heads up to Brent Long for the help on this one.
Vegeta - I'm absolutely enthralled by this one. Mostly because I enjoyed Richard Barnes pronunciation of Kakarott and his attitude he gives Vegeta. He sounds a little too old, but otherwise, it's a step above Chris Sabat's take.
Gohan - I swore to God that this was Kyle Hebert when I heard it the very first time, but after enough listens-through, I could tell that it was, in fact, Lex Lang. Makes me wonder if Kyle secretly listened to the Final Bout voice and tried his best to copy it. ; )
Cell - It sounds like Tom Wyner's voice, though a little less 'bastardly' than his Devimon or M. Bison. Anyway, absolutely loving it. He'd make an absolutely perfect Cell. Though... Heaven? Could also be Jeff Sherwood.
Kid Buu - This could damn well be anyone, though it's believed to be Dougary Grant. I'm not even going to try and assume who it is. Sounds... fun?
Freeza - Well, it's... better than Linda Young. Definitely. Mayuri from Bleach shared the same voice actor with Freeza in the Japanese version, Ryusei Nakao, so it's a little bit funny that Dougary Grant gave Freeza the same treatment in English that Mayuri received from Terrence Stone. Oh, BTW, Freeza has the greatest power in the universe. Heads up to Brent Long for help on this one.
Piccolo - Oh lordy, Piccolo wants to clean the trash of the universe. XD I can only assume this is Dan Woren/Jackson Daniels after Brent Long was so nice to share some examples.
Vegetto - OH GOD MY EARS XD
Oozaru Bebi - After much deliberation and further help from Brent Long, it's decided that this is, in fact, Joe Romersa. Sounds decent, not much to say.

... Did they only dub over the actual dialog and keep all the grunts and attacks with the Japanese cast? Mind you, I'm not really complaining, but that just seems lazy.Taku128 wrote:http://youtube.com/watch?v=YU5mgyrXCgY

Yeah, that's what they did. I remember when I first played this game, I went into the practice mode (where there isn't any pre-battle or end-battle dialogue; only battle voices). So I was confused when I was hearing the Japanese voices, seeing as how I heard that the voices were supposed to be dubbed.Casual Matt wrote:... Only the pre and post-fight dialogue were dubbed. Everything in game was Japanese. So there was still "Makkansappo" instead of "Special Beam Cannon".Casual Matt wrote:... Updated the cast list and descriptions to match new information and cast 'confirmations' thanks to Brent Long, from the Toonzone boards.

I associate him with Spike, his Wolverine was way too high. David Hayter was the perfect Wolverine.Artificial Human #887 wrote:Blum as Goku makes me curious, though I think it would be weird. I have this tendency to associate him with his Wolverine voice overs... which is certainly a far cry from Goku.
I'm still interested though.

Who's he, and when was he Wolverine? Myself, I thought, Blum's was great, but the best was still Cal Dodd.Sun_Wukong wrote:I associate him with Spike, his Wolverine was way too high. Hayter never voiced Wolverine. That's a misconception. He has, however, voiced Solid Snake. He also played Kurama in one of the old YYH movies nad Tamahome in the three Fushigi Yuugi OVAs.

Oh wow, some of those're just terrible. Steve Blum and Brianne Sidall as both ages of Goku actually sound pretty interesting, but I wouldn't wanna stick with 'em. I agree with Gohan definitely sounding like Kyle, but I could BARELY tell it was Lex Lang, damn. Cell's isn't bad either...aaaaand the rest of them are just, ew. SS4 Gogeta was funny as hell though XD;
...and did anyone know that Freeza has the greatest power in the universe?
Oh, and just 'cuz I'm curious, who's Brent Long?

I have the Game, I could record some of the voices. If anyone wants to hear more voices from it.

I knew that. I was referring to the Hayter guy. Also have both X-Men: Legends games.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:Blum was Wolverine in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, it's a game for PS2 Wii etc.Super Sonic wrote:Who's he, and when was he Wolverine?
