It will take us up until the Cell Games... so it will be right after Cell lets Trunks live and tells him about his 'Cell Games'... So I dunno if it's just the Cell Games to be included in Season 6 or the Cell Games and Great Saiyaman... but probably just the Cell Games..
About that DB movies set, do they actually say it'll be remastered? I seriously doubt they said anything about it being wide-screen, considering FUNi dropped that advertising slogan after Season 1. By the looks of it, and from what GoC has said, it's only a thin-pack re-release; which makes very little sense to have a trailer made for.
On Amazon.com it said that they will be "remastered" and FUNimation's "remastered" = widescreen.

I have a very important question that needs to be answered. So if you play with English Voices + Japaense Music, is "Battle Power Infinity" also left out, in the scene when Trunks goes Super Saiyan against Freeza? Also... King Cold's voice...

Please tell me it's been redubbed. King Cold had a brand new voice in the US Release of Tenkaichi 3 (SParKing MeTEor in Japan), so .. well.. let me have it? Is he still the ridiculous English King Cold from before?

Battle Power Infinity is there, yes.

It is the same exact King Cold, from the dub.

I have to say, I recieved my season 4 box set two days ago, and it's good but not as great as season 3. To me, this boxset is like season 2, not many great episodes that are "ground breaking" like seasons 1 and 3.

The video's good, as well as thhe sound. When the episodes get to the middle and cuts to the commercial break sequence, sounds like they put too much bass or something on the audio. I can actually see my TV vibrating from it, and it doesnt sound that great at all.

Overall I give this set a 3 out of 5.

Huh? King Cold in the Dub and King Cold in Tenkaichi 3 sound the same. I mean I guess it's a little different sounding given that there's a 7 year gap between the 2. But it's really the same thing.

That's really stupid that the insert songs are left out yet they're still advertising having the original music. More like..."most of the original music depending on which version you watch." At least the picture doesn't look too bad.

You're not the first person to say this... I have to say, I completly disagee, as they sound NOTHING the same. I'm starting to suspect that I have "a different version of the game" then all of you.

The first Dub of King Cold had him all wimpy sounding, like some british snob. His voice in Tenkaichi 3 sounds deep, and gruff, emulating his Japanese voice very closely. It's nothing alike.

Hmm. As for battle power infinity still being intact... then it must simply only be songs with lyrics that are excluded from the English version. Which means, Demon vs Demon will be a no go.

First person I've seen who said they didn't like the Evil British voice. Remember back in the day, had quite a few friends who said whoever voiced him should've voiced Frieza.

Haha, I thought King Cold's dub voice was awful before I even knew the Japanese version existed.

These screenshots aren't looking too bad. I'm wistfully hoping someone posts a few shots that resemble Season 1/2's crap-fest.

Was this a joke? I thought that King Cold's dub voice was pretty much universally hated by all Dragonball fans. This is a real shock to me, that anyone actually likes it at all.. I am seriuosly stunned right now. I have always considered King Cold's dub voice to be the worst dub voice in... well... the entire dub. :? It's right up there with Android #19 and Fat Buu...

It's really just better acting and better emoting. He changes the voice to fit the emotion while still doing the same voice. Yes I do agree that the voice is a little different, but for the most part it's still the same voice. Just better acting and different emoting.

I actually like King Cold's Dub voice...I think it was similar to JP Freeza. I'm not trying to say it's the same voice of JP Freeza, but it's similar in tone.

While a notable amount of Faulconer's tracks aren't all that great, I don't concur on this in that I feel the track dubbed with this scene didn't add a hopeful note to what was seen on-screen and was rather poignant with a wide set of doleful, raw emotions, which was quite necessary for the bleakness of the memories for which it is played. But then again, I feel "Mind... Power Ki" can't be beaten.

That aside, while Eric Vale didn't start out all that great, he was quick to grow into the role and became one of the better VA's. He added a certain ardent depth in tone that made Trunks sound both like a time traveler and a son who deeply and pensively cares about his father without a shadow of doubt, though he did lack the mannerisms and depth/intensity of ire Takeshi Kusao displayed on a couple of occasions. Nevertheless, I feel Vale's performances were, as an overall, excellent and laudable, and whilst I have confidence in him, these redubs haven't been bringing out the better qualities of the VAs from what I can garner.

As for King Cold, I never liked his VA and don't feel he's anywhere near Ryusei Nakao's interpretation. Daisuke Gouri was a fantastic choice for Cold, who managed to sound royal yet serious at once (while hitting the low-pitches well), sounded much more imposing, and offered a much, much better performance.

But that aside, these captures from the Season 4 set aren't looking all that great to me. But I wasn't expecting that great a footing to go off on to begin with.

Hey guy,

These pictures look totally awesome. They beat the old American versions with every thing(wtf?), IMO. However, I'm not sure (I know enough about the?) Dragon Box sets (to form an educated opinion?).

I had a question, though... When it's shaking, are things still messy or not?

Messy? how do you mean? I noticed it when Dr. Gero was fighting Piccolo (right afteer Piccolo took his arm off) and he went down to the ground.. he looked really weird like I needed glasses or something. I dunno how to take videos or I'd post it on youtube.

I'm assuming he means the disappearing lines when the camera shakes.
