I've been an db/dbz/dbs fan for some time now.In fact I didn't even know what Dragon ball was until a friend recommended it to me.I finished all of DBZ and currently reading DBS!Anyway,my question is:any tips to buy merchandise?Like any cel art,figures,booklets,anything.Thanks.

Hello Cobra, Welcome to the Kazenshuu forums and Nice to Meet You!

Honestly I might be the best in Knowledge in this area, so really the best place I know is to look for any Local Comic Book or Anime Stores in your area 1st. I always say support your local comic stores 1st and you have the chance not only to see such merchandise in the flesh, but you be amazed at how these shop owners can work with you to get what you are looking for!

If not, only retailers like Ebay are Very Good as well as Amazon, but do research into the seller and the items before you buy to make sure they are in good condition and the seller is trustworthy.

I'd say for a beginner the Viz release of the manga is fine, and if you already own the DVDs I'd say the season sets are "enough" since they have the Japanese audio and subtitles you should be using, but for figures and stuff I'd say look for stuff you like!

I'm mainly a collector of books, DVDs and CDs so the main site is great for looking all those up but for models there's all kinds of things to look out for, I don't really know much about models so I just get the Banpresto statues and the Figure-rise model kits since I like building things.
