The who part of this charts analysis hurts me so much.

It makes sense to me. One character from an obscure OVA that was never dubbed, two video game characters, one minor DB tournament jobber, one movie villain. Really, Hirudegarn is the most surprising to me, and that's probably because his name isn't easy to remember of hand. Like, Lord Slug is Lord Slug, Hirudegarn is someone I'd have had to Google before I got hardcore into the franchise.

I know that feeling. The only thing I can say is MOST of the characters I want are in the top 8, but seriously, screw satan, gogeta and kid goku. Give me Raditz, Dabura and anyone else out of Majin Vegeta, Great Saiyaman and Caulifla and you'd have a roster addition I'm happy with

Apparently Season 2 characters will be a combination of fan wishes and who the developers consider interesting. Let's see if they actually mean it.

Other stuff: they plan to improve comeback mechanics, reduce the length of matches and change to DHC's.

I wouldn't be shocked if sonic actually wins this tournament. Pretty sure he'll be the one going forward from the losers bracket.

Jiren and Videl look awesome, holy crap!

Also, I said that Broly and SSB Gogeta wouldn't be in this season, and that Kefla would most likely be the one paired with Jiren. I was wrong on both counts and I don't care, because this is too cool.

Happy with Videl and Jiren I feel had to come, he looked strangely plain though. Also happy with Videl's outfit choice, I could have gone with the pigtails as well.

Gogeta and Broly also kind of had to be there. I wonder what forms they will use though they have a fair few options for those 2. I'd probably guess the black hair 'wrathful' transformation for Broly (hopefully Paragus is in his intro) and SSJ for Gogeta with SSB being part of a lot of his moves. A traditional movie 12 colour scheme for sure.

Jiren's moveset looks fantastic. Now please Bandai... Kefla and Toppo as the last two...

Jiren and SSB Gogeta were obvious choices.
DBS Broly also was even though I didn't want another Broly.
Videl is a weird pick. I would choose Caulifla + Kale as assist, Kefla or Ribrianne over her anyday.

Videl looks great and Jiren looks...alright I guess, kinda clunky looking but alright.

Them announcing Gogeta and Broly as the last 2 made the reveal for me. I cant wait to have them, no doubt instant main team characters for me along with Vegito.

Glad the season is starting next week already along with the huge balance patch!
