How does it work, anyway? How do you take out the Japanese voices without taking out music? Or do you just dub straight over them without any sound editing? That would suck...

Some fan dubs add their own music. Others take it from the Sountracks or something. I don't think many actually take only the voices.

So, they take out all audio and just talk over the soundtrack? I considered that.
Adding in new music would be a very bad idea...

I've seen it happen before. Some crap rock and Metallica. But my soundtrack assumption could have been wrong I was just guessing.

Well, it does sound logical.
Metallica, huh? I just pictured some amateur fucker pushing keys on a keyboard when you said "add their own music". Metallica and other rock is a little better, but still horribly wrong.

Hey isn't that what Falconer did?

Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

I'm saying consistant Metallica (or the like bands) that overshadows the voices and does not completly go with the scene. Eg. When Freeza and Goku break to talk or Gohan saves Piccolo. It definately sounds like the peson is just up to the microphone and whatever music they are playing is right behind them in my experiences.

Regardless, I'd be more than happy to take some VOBs off of your hands.
I think I could persuade myself to put some of the VOBs in your hands... just let me know how?!?

I wouldn't consider myself a Sabat wanna-be... just I can do his renditions of Vegeta and Piccolo quite well (Yamcha only sometimes). I'm a very versatile voice actor, but only when my allergies don't act up.
Sniff.

I suppose, I don't see why you couldn't... unless they're too good and make mine look bad.
Oh and VegettoEX, how did you want me to send you those VOBs?
