112 is one of the few studios that actually try all they can to keep the cast from other studios, however if they can't I believe the original cast is safe, wouldn't like to lose Romeu though.

SIC not wanting Biggs to have their dub. It's not something new for a channel to get a show that was dubbed and aired not long ago on a different channel but for some reason redubbed it, SIC and RTP2 did that not too long ago, in fact the only time I remember a show changing channel without getting redubbed is with Doraemon when it went from Panda to Cartoon Network but that's because the Luk International hired Pim Pam Pum to be the official portuguese Doraemon dubbing house. This will be 50/50, we either get a redub or we don't. Either way maybe this could mean new episodes on Biggs sooner than on SIC.

Most Digimon shows started on SIC and TVI and transitioned to Panda without redubs. They usually redub series when they lose the audio masters. Which I suppose that's what happened with Sonic X.

Now THIS was an unexpected turn of events. SIC not having DB rights in Portugal is something I think nobody expected. The big question is IF they don't redub everything who will dub the missing 27 episodes? Biggs worked with Audio In in the past but only for 2 live-action shows and all their animes usually go to 112 Studios (which would be kind of poetic since they dubbed Sailor Moon Crystal and Saint Seiya Omega, all dubbed by Novaga). 112 Studios tries their best to keep the casting consistent so that probably wouldn't be a problem. Either way Biggs treats Pokémon pretty well, SMC even though it had that terrible censorship was later shown without censorship and their block "Anime Hour" has a way better schedule than the one SIC ever gave Super. March will be an interesting month for portuguese DB fans.

Probably from the beggining, it would be pretty weird to just start from 105 when you have all the episodes, although I would prefer they start from 105 because if they start from the beggining we'll only get new episodes in July.

In case it starts from the beginning, it would be a good idea to air the episodes in all weekdays instead of once a week. You know, like CN does in Latin America and Brasil. And once it catches wherever SIC left, change to once a week.

It is really surprising the channel hop. Never expected SIC to stop airing it.

When Pokémon moved from SIC to Biggs, Biggs started by airing a rerun of season 10, the last season SIC aired. They kept the dub, but as the dub had a lot of problems (mainly missed lines), they aired a "corrected version", voicing those parts which had mouth flaps without sound.

I don't think Biggs will do this to Dragon Ball, but I wonder what will happen to all those references to SIC. They will probably air the episodes without noticing them, but I really don't know.

All in all, aside from all the problems Biggs had in the past with censorship, I think these are great news, and if Dragon Ball Super is successful (which will surely be), Biggs will treat it very well. With Pokémon we went from being almost 3 and half years behind Japan to being now about 5 months behind Japan and 1-2 months behind the USA.

Just realized that if Biggs treats Dragon Ball the way they treat Pokémon we might get the BoG and RoF movies dubbed and Broly might air on Biggs, meaning that if there's no physical release the dub won't get lost.

This might actually happen. Biggs is super into dubbing movies.

That's kind of good news. It'd be great if Biggs redubbed Dragon Ball Super and gave it a professional dub as it deserves, probably won't happen though.

Hmmm, well maybe that's that for Dragon Ball's run on the channel. That's too bad considering the franchise's long history there. I wonder if this was somehow Toei's doing...
