Does Vegeta actually say Big Bang Attack this time?

I think someone earlier said he doesn't, which is totally lame. I am about halfway through the set already (I had the day off so I just watched it all day) but I haven't gotten that far yet.

I just bought both Season 4 and the TV special double pack thanks to Best Buy's 2 for $45 deal. They look amazing on my big screen TV.

Has anyone even noticed any changes in dialogue? Because I'm up to the point where everyone's chasing after Dr. Gero, and I have not noticed a thing.

I'm waiting to see if there are any instances of the "disappearing lines" I want to close the gap in my collection, but I'd rather go without if it's the same bullshit I got in my Season 2 set.

I noticed the disappearing line stuff occasionally, but it's not nearly as bad as it has been.

Could you post some screencaps?

Thanks for the comparisons Toreto.

I can't say I like the cropping or the "remastering" (especially the backgrounds, they look like someone ran them through photoshop with a "pastel wash" filter) but those colours are fantastic for a funimation release.

But, is it really that dark? What program are you using to take those screen captures from the Season Set Funimation? I've seen instances where I've seen screencaps of the Season Set work before, and it looked nothing like what was on my screen, when I actually went to watch them. I mean, it looks great on my Televisons, and even my PC.. not anywhere near as dark or grainy as it is depicted in your screencaps.. how strange.

They look quite bright to me, and I don't really see any grain, but then again, I'm running my pc at 1920x1440 so it's kind of hard to see.

In my opinion the Dragonbox footage actually looks darker than usual.

You mean that the actual set is even brighter than the screencaps? Ugh, I don't even want to think about it, as the screencaps look far too bright to me. The Dragonbox-screens also look a bit too dark, but they look far better than the FUNi-sets.

I didn't take the screens from the season sets. A user posted these on the first page. I just provided the dbox screens.

I used VLC player btw.

edit: Could someone post a comparison from the season sets?

It's the same episode.

What about the First episode of the Trunks Saga, In English? Where Yamucha is singing that Cat Food commercial jingle, makes me puke my pants, but it still cracks me up, CAT LOVES FOOD, YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!

I thought that was the Ocean Dub, I had no idea people in the UK actually got the Funi dub for longer. I guess the Ocean Dub starts when it was basically the first opening but goes "Dragon Dragon Ball! Dragonball ZEEEEEEE!"

I'm still annoyed about the Zee instead of Z. Last time on Drrrrrrrragonball ZEE! I know they can't ever change that, True DBZ fans don't say Z do they, they say the proper Zed right?

Anyway, this box is just the same as the others, only I can't really tell the difference between the DBox and Season box, I need to see more comparisons. Some details come out very High Deff, but if it's a blurry movement you can't see those details at all, it might be because of my PAL TV, I experience similar problems while watching other US English only shows like Tenchi Universe and Mobile Suit Gundam.

I'll try to post screencaps. The only problem is that my main computer doesn't play DVDs. My computer in the basement does, but it's horrendously slow thanks to all of the porn and music my brother has on it. Not only that, but the internet connection never works on it, so I'll have to save it to a USB port and post them here.

My TV is PAL and I don't experience any problems like that. And any way the Dbox is NTSC as well (isn't it?) so that would be blurry as well.
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.
