Those are not Spanish subs on the screen. The upside down ponctuation marks are there so the actors don't start the sentences with neutral expression when the character is, for example, sad.
They are. Look at Quimbé's picture. The line in the screen with Lemo is "Al planeta de Broly".

Oh you're right. Maybe they had to get the japanese version with spanish subs from Selecta Vision because FUNimation gave them the english dub.

No, in that case the translation is "To Broly's planet" not "Broly's Planet"

I think this phrase is more like "In/At/To Broly's planet."

I walked by Almada Forum today and out of curiosity I went to the movie theater to confirm if they were already selling tickets for the Movie and the guy said yes.
He said there was a delay and it still wasn't available yesterday like the facebook page Cinemas NOS had said.

I also found a portuguese edition of Dragon Ball Monopoly (I only had saw the english version on stores until now) and these carnival costumes at Toysrus:

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

By that logic, the Portuguese dub would be more faithful to the script but then there are the Super Space Warriors.

Not at all, the Super dub was based on the japanese version and still used Space Warrior.

Because they believe the fans would complain if, god forbid, they actually used the real names and terms rather than the made up dub-terms.

The Facebook page posted a dubbed version of the second trailer.
I like that they used Freeza on the screen.

The voices all seem very nice but the sound mixing is abysmal. Hopefully it's because they didn't record the lines specifically for the trailer and are picking them from the actual movie but it still scares me. Audio In has an history of poor editing with Dragon Ball.

And Hopefully they translate SS God correctly this time.

Wish you had provided a link to the dubbed trailer.

Here it is, anyway: https://www.facebook.com/DBdePortugal/v ... 165749088/

Okay, that was kinda awesome, I was surprised they wrote Freeza's name correctly rather than 'Freezer' or 'Frieza'. Well, the two alternate name spellings aren't wrong but they're not as faithful. In English we may write 'Frieza' but it sounds like writing Freeza whereas 'Frieza' in Portuguese would just mean coldness. Still, they could have gone one step farther and replace 'Super Space Warriors' with Super Saiyans. But.. the Català hasn't done it either so, eh, they now seem they're trying to please both crowds and that's cool. :)

Based from that trailer alone, the dub sounds like it's going to be brilliant so I'm definitely excited to watch it in Portuguese. Already seen it in English so will want to watch it later in Japanese, Castillan, Catalan and Portuguese.

Yeah, sorry about the lack of link but I was on my phone and it's harder to get it.

Since they're using Son Goku in the trailer my guess is they'll still call him Freezer in dialogue but it's nice they used it in the trailer, gives me hope for the subs.

While the sound mixing is indeed abysmal it sounds like those lines are taken right from the movie instead of just dubbing the trailer.
Putting that aside MY FUCKING GOD YES!!! Miguel Raposo just sounds great and brings that youthfulness Goku needs, Rui de Sá sounds great as Paragus, it seems that Tiago Alves is Freeza and he sounds great (from the little we can hear), Loy is doing a good Vegeta and my God can Romeu Vala scream his lungs out.

The teaser we got a few days ago was from the Bardock trailer so I'm sure we'll get that soon enough and we'll get to hear Freeza and Paragus a lot better.

It would be nice if they called Son Goku as 'Goku' every once in a while than always Son Goku. Let's hope so, they did it in DB Movie 4.

If you don't want to watch it on the awful facebook video player you can watch it here on Cinena City's youtube channel.

Just checked the Japanese and English trailers. The lines there are different because they don't exactly match the lines of the equivalent footage in the final film, unlike the Portuguese dub who took the easy way out and indeed just used the movie lines.

The reference to the tournament of power is gone but I think it's two separate lines on the film.

Yeah, they went with the movie lines just like Funimation did with the final trailer.

Yes, the ToP reference is a separate line on the film and that is why it's missing in the trailer.
