Funimation is there! I think it's just the marketing material but I don't know... Big Picture has the Japanese version since that's going to theatres with the Dub. Either way this is the first project Funimation has ever been involved with in Portugal, maybe the first of many? Hope so, more anime never hurted anyone.
Funi was at least indirectly involved with our Kai syndication, because our subs for the first ~50 episodes were direct translations of their English dub script.

Well, most if not every country in the West used FUNimation's script for Dragon Ball Kai. Maybe France and Germany didn't.

Anyway, that is interesting that FUNimation's name is on the Portuguese trailer because Manga UK tends to hide it away, Madman displays it, no prob.

Here's an example:

Is there any confirmation that the subtitled version is the Japanese version?
Because from what I've seen they only say we gonna have the dub and a subtitled version, which could turn out to be Funi dub with subtitles...
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Yes, they have confirmed that the sub version has japanese áudio.

Well, that's the norm anyway, it'd be weird if a foreign subbed version used a foreign dub rather than the original audio. Then again, Poland did a voice-over over the Japanese audio on Kai.

Both french and german dubs used Funimation script as well too.

Also, the only exception with western Kai dubs was the brazilian dub for the first 98 episodes. In that situation, they used a scripts based in the japanese manga.
They used Funi script only for The Final Chapters dub.

For what, exactly? Obviously not the Z dubs. I thought the French and German scripts for Kai and Super were completely separate from Funimation's, and more accurate to boot.

Might have been easier to translate from than Japanese, and FUNi's Kai script was mostly accurate, anyway. The Kai Galego dub also used the FUNi script but it's really good.

Some decided to stick with Saiyans, Saiya-jins, Saiya-yins or Space Warriors so they made their edits to the script.

The French dub did absolutely not. It's far from the english Funimation script. Trust me, I have compared. They did however start throwing in Funimation name terminology for attacks for whatever reason at some point.

FFS...I'm getting really tired of the Feist fanbase everytime the trailer is posted, it's always the same guys complaining non stop, they don't even want to give the new voices a chance.

Looks like Different=Bad in their mind, and instead of keeping their stupidity for themselves or just posting once some are already spamming how shitty and awful everything is, I bet if everything was the same as before they would find a way to still complain.

Mark my words: if this movie flops hard (which is a very real possibility, let's not kid ourselves) after the page encouraged people to sabotage it, they'll place their blames squarely on the new voice actor.

Believe me, the page will never do that. As much as I don't agree with what the page did after knowing what happened behind the scenes I can say the blame is not all on them.
There's a very minimal chance of this movie failing, the dub is not one of them, most fans even though they're sad Feist and Spínola are gone accept it was their choice to leave and the ones that don't want to watch the dub will watch the sub. That very little minority made of not even 10 people are not going to affect the movie and even most of those 10 people are going to watch it subbed.

Jesus the vocal part of the Portuguese fandom is comprised of nostalgic assholes. Sheesh. Never found comments so cringy to read than the ones on Big Picture's post of the trailer on Facebook:

The one by a Brazillian saying the movie already premiered there almost a year ago with a better dub cracks me up tho. Dude must be a time traveler.

It's sad but I know for a fact that the silent majority is incredibly bigger, you also have the entire younger audience that doesn't comment those things.

Oh boy, the Vegeta Character trailer was posted by Big Picture this Morning and instead of a Vegeta line they used a Paragus' one, Audio In being their usual selves.

Then out of nowhere Loy demanded that it was taken down by saying that it was a piece of shit and that he wouldn't tolerate incompetence and lack of professionalism. This guy sometimes makes me laugh hard.

This is not Audio In, they're a dubbing studio not a marketing one. Big Picture used a trailer clip and since the trailer used movie lines, which implied using lines from other characters since none of the original trailer lines are in the movie, they used a Paragus one by mistake.

Also, asking for professionalism while acting like a complete diva is inconsitency at it's finest.

Loy is one of the weirdest guys out there, he looks like a completely different person sometimes, one day he's kinda nice and the other he's a jerk. I really don't understand him, but oh well at least he seems serious in this movie and not a Joke Machine from the little we saw.

These fans feel like folks who complain about movies and games having too much nudity but then they're not even going to financially support it, either way.

I'm excited for the Portuguese dub because it sure as heck sounds the cast has put A LOT of effort to making the PT dub as good as possible. While still trying to please the nostalgic fans.

You know, the dubisms are sorta disappointing but they're nowhere near as bad as the horrible audio filters they used back in the day. I once read that it was possible to remove those filters but never seen proof of it, like, an audio sample.

And lastly, a Dragon Ball Kai (+ TFC) dub with this Portuguese cast would be awesome. The new Goku VA sounds a lot closer to Masako Nozawa. :)

Big Picture just posted the second trailer.

Using movie lines is fucking up the sound mixing so hard. The Freeza lines sound so bad and it's clearly unfiltered audio.
Cold is Quimbé, no idea who Bardock and King Vegeta are but they sound pretty good.

Now there's only the final trailer left so we can hear the full capacity of Miguel Raposo's and Romeu Vala's screams.
