New Burst Limit Demo video
Hey guys, I've seen a lot of screenshots of Burst Limit, but this is the first time I've seen the game in action. And let me say, this looks awesome. You really owe it to yourselves to watch this video.

Seriously, it's very impressive, what they've done to this game in terms of graphics and gameplay. It really is seeming very much like the show we all love.

Pretty cool, actually. The game looks very fun and is wonderful on the eyes. Hope I can hang out with someone that owns a 360/PS3 and the game sometime. XD

Y'know what this game suddenly reminded me of? Dragonball Z Hyper Dimension...maybe it was the whole being knocked up into the sky switching to a pure flying stage or the whole going into the background and jumping back to the foreground to attack thing. The cinematics are looking better then I thought they would do.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Yeah noticed that too.NeptuneKai wrote:Y'know what this game suddenly reminded me of? Dragonball Z Hyper Dimension...maybe it was the whole being knocked up into the sky switching to a pure flying stage or the whole going into the background and jumping back to the foreground to attack thing.
But correct me if I'm wrong, but other than translating this thing those english dudes aren't actually working on the game, righ? They're constantly saying "we did this" "we did that" :S confuses me.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but he did mention that Dimps was the developer. Eh, kinda contradicting but hey, whatever.Nyoibo wrote:Yup, that's an Atari guy - nothing to do with the game. Dimps and Bandai are directly involved. Atari just... embarrass themselves.
Anyways, this game looks awesome. It may the same Budokai style of gameplay, but these new additions are just really nice.

It looks great and will probably play great, but I honestly believe that a DBZ game is not complete if they don't at least cover the major fights of all the TV episodes (meaning the inclusion of Buu). Budokai 1 felt somewhat incomplete ending with Cell, as did Sagas, which felt incomplete for a variety of other reasons of course.
The roster will definitely be smaller than the Tenkaichi/Sparking games, so I would hope that like Super DBZ more time is put into character play style variety. Still, the game will probably be pretty cool.

Art direction taken directly from the manga..In HD.. *gets warm fuzzy feeling all over*
So is there going to be no ki charging in this game? Or did the guy playing just choose not to charge up since he was in training mode? I hope they didn't take it out because I love charging up.
