Be warned. Nintendo will realse an update that will stop it working. That's what they did with the cube one.

Or, you could just buy the actual Tenkaichi 3 game.

I know you can change the voices to Japanese but what about the music? I don't want to have to listen to this:

Considering the fact that isn't in there, I think your worries are unnecessary.

Its an all new original soundtrack by Kenji Yamamoto, the man who did the music for the Budokai and Tenkaichi series in the US. The music from the show is NOT in the game.

But like i said it'll be a waste as at any time Nintendo will update to make it so the freeloader does not work. It's annoying but you have to update to play some of the latest games as they have an update on the disk.

So he'll be wasting money on both the freeloader and the game.

So, once again, just buy the actual Tenkaichi 3 game. If the music bothers you that much, just throw some headphones on or something.

Besides, the soundtrack is really good, and much, much better than the Japanese one.

You mean crap midi-esque renditions of said music? I'll pass.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Not for people who love the Japanese version of the show, I for one think Tenkaichi 3's soundtrack is utter tripe.

Because the Gamecube version was made useless after a firmware update for the Wii. It's likely Nintendo will do the same with this to stop people from importing games not yet released in their region.

Yeah, I'm not trying to be negative. I'm just trying to save you money and disappointment for the reason mentioned here.

Say £10 for freeloader + £40 for imported DBZ game.= £50. The second the update comes that stops it working you will be out at least £50 I say at least incase you buy more.

Happened to a friend of mine. Imported a lot of Game cube and spent about £200-300 on them and then the update hit and he's stuck with big pile of games he can't play

The real problem here is that Nintendo is still enforcing region controls. What bullshit.

The new Wii Freeloader bypases any console firmware updates and goes straight into it.

Nintendo will find a way to make it not work.

Yeah, it pisses me off. I mean, there's no region control on the DS, yet there is on the Wii? It being a console is no excuse, as the PS3 is region free.

I could have been playing Brawl for over a month by now!

But then the Nintendo of whatever country you live in wouldn't make any money. Nintendo does it so they don't have to have worldwide release dates. It sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it.

Not possible. If the disk skips any updates, then it isn't possibl for the console to be have it's firmware changed to block the new disk from working.
