Well, my step dad appears to be getting better, so I should have some time alone to record the final lines soon.

Okaaaay...

At the moment, there are still some of you voice actors who haven't Skyped with us yet. I think you know who you guys are; if not, double-check with me (I'm keeping track). I know the number's really small at this point, though. (Like maybe three or four of you guys. Huzzah! But let's get that down to zero, eh?!)

I recall Mystic Jack, Mr. Piccolo (Our meeting fell through! Waugh! D: ), and Azure as being among that number; I think that's all, though I have to make sure. Anybody else who hasn't, or who would like to Skype again to refresh themselves or to finish covering all bases (I'm looking at you, bkev), just let Kaboom or me know. :D And Omega, if you would, I'd kind of like to finish going over the rest of your lines, as well... we didn't finish going over the Goku ones, if you recall, and I don't think we even touched on Shenlong. :S

If it helps any to know, I'm available from about 3:30 P.M. onwards from Monday 'til Friday, and usually available all day Saturday and until about 4:30 P.M. on Sunday for Skyping. That's all Central Time, so adjust that as necessary and let me know if you're available during those times. (I think Kaboom mentioned when he was able to be on, like, a page ago. Third one down on his posts there. So yeah, same goes with contacting him, though he's in Eastern Time.) Also, let us know if you have any problems that might conflict with conferencing or with your final recording so we can adjust if necessary. D:

For those of you with whom we've finished Skyping, you know what to do. Get those lines finished! You can do it!

*holds up a big "GO FOR IT!" sign and cheers on*

Yay bold-type? ._.;
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

Most stuff happens on the chat room guys, so show up there.

CHAT ROOM, guys. CHAT ROOM. NOW.

In fact, I want everyone who still feels any shred of a connection to this project to get their butts into #R29ProductionsProject ASAP. I mean all of you. Forget Skype, forget the voice samples, just grab mIRC or Chatzilla and get on. If you don't know how to do that, just grab me and I will personally walk you through the steps. But this IS how it's going to happen.

There's important things that need to be discussed about the future of this project. If we want to preserve ANY chance of this ever being finished, we need to talk and decide things.

That being said, we need to have EVERYONE on AT ONCE for this discussion. I want to set up a time for everyone still interested in the project too meet in the chat room, and I want it to happen no later than a week from now. That doesn't just mean voice actors. EVERYONE involved with this project. EVERYONE.

Myself or Kino are ALWAYS in the chat room. Drop in, and we'll discuss with you when the best time to set up this meeting is.

This is the LAST time I'm going to bump this. EVERYONE still involved in this project is going to be notified of this, by this post AND e-mail. There's no excuse to not know about it.

If you guys don't all listen up and do something about it this time, then I'll take it as a sign of general disinterest, and just ask Mike to lock this topic and let it die.

I'd rather not have to. I expect several of you in the chat over the course of the next day or so.

My mIRC thing expired.

Also, um, I am trying to get the lines done, but I never seem to have a moment alone. Today I did for like 20 minutes, but that wasn't long enough to get through even a quarter of the script.

I am trying guys, I am, I swear.

By the way, what characters am I officially voicing. I know Goku, and Shenlong, but am I doing Raisin also? Cause that's the impression I got.

You can keep using mIRC even after it's expired. You wait a few seconds and then the "Continue" or "OK" or whatever it is button will work like normal.

We know.

That's one of the things we need to discuss and catch up on. Stop in mIRC and we'll chat about it.

Just checking in to say I got the mIRC and visited the room a couple hours ago. Conan was the only one there; he showed me how to use the basic mIRC tools.

I have to go to school for a 5:30 class, but I'll be back around 9pm or so. I don't know if either of you will be on at that time.
On hiatus.

YouTube at some point for some length of time (i.e. until it gets removed). I wanted to put it on Stage6, but unfortunately, it seems that's shutting down soon... We'll find some other suitable, decent-quality place to host it if/when it's finished.

Since Kaboom and Kino are too busy debating/arguing with each other about what to do here I decided to do it myself.

Kaboom's through. Simple as that. He's given this project multiple shots and people keep not doing stuff. So he's done. Done to the point he wants to kill it.

Kino wants to keep going. And so, Kino is now in charge.

That is all.

Remix, that last clip's not too bad. I'll probably call on you for this if the need arises, so if it does, please be ready! :D

Oy. Well, what Xyex has said is right. Kaboom has pretty much given up on the project now, if that should tell you guys something about how slowly it's been going. I'M still wanting to finish this, though, so I'm going to take charge. I'd rather not have the work that's been done so far be wasted. So, with that in mind, let me get to business.

First off, I want all of you who are still interested in the project to get yourselves in gear--and I want to find out just how many of you there are exactly. Starting with the voice-actors, I'm going to be emailing you guys asking for updates, and I mean ALL of you guys, and I expect you all to respond, whether by email, I'm, whatever you have handy. Here's how it's going to go down:
  • :!: Within the next few days I'm going to send out these emails. You have one week to get back in touch with me with an update, whether it's "I've got this much done" or "I'm here, but I haven't been able to get much done". It does not matter at this particular moment what your response will be when I ask; it just matters that you respond.
:!: If I do not get a reply from you within a week, I will send out one more email requesting your status. From then you will have ONE more week to contact me, and just one. I will keep an eye out for you on I'm, as well, but this is NOT going to work if I'm the only one sending and responding to messages, so if I catch you on I'm and you're available to talk, you had better respond.
:!: If, after I have sent you the second message, you STILL do not reply within one week after, I will drop you from the project. Yeah, you read right. I WILL DROP YOU. NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS. There are several other people on this forum who're more than willing to take on a role (or job) or two should any be vacated, so don't think I'm just going to keep handing you second chances and waiting on you to respond. You fail to do this and you're out. Removed. Kaput. GONE. Got that?
:!: For those of you who do reply to me, I'm going to keep up a regular correspondence with you guys about how you're doing. Every week I want you guys to email or I'm me with your current progress. Again, this can be either "I've gotten this much done" or "I haven't been able to make much progress". If you haven't been able to do much since the last update, I would appreciate it if you would mention why, but choosing to offer an explanation is entirely up to your discretion and I won't push for one. What matters is that you let me know where you are on your work and that I know that you're getting it done, even if slowly. If for any reason the correspondence stops, I will give you a two weeks' grace period, wherein I will try to contact you when I can, and if you don't reply again with SOMETHING within that period, you ALSO will be dropped from the project.
That's how it's going to go. And I'm sorry if I suddenly come across as a bitch about this, but seriously, this project has been sitting in a rut for WAY too long. I want to see this fandub finished, and I KNOW some of you still want to see it done as well. I do NOT want to have to kill this project like Kaboom was intending to do, so from now on I'm going to be cracking the whip on this. If you have a legitimate problem preventing you guys from keeping regular contact, I'm more than willing to offer some leniency, but you have GOT to let me know if you're in that kind of situation.

You all have email, so CHECK IT. Not getting the messages because you haven't done so, unless it's for a REALLY GOOD reason, is absolutely NO excuse for not getting back to me. I'm on and available whenever I can be on IRC, AIM, YIM, MSN, and Skype, I check my email almost daily, and I'm even going to be here from time to time if you want to leave a reply on the thread or in a PM (I'm always going to catch the PMs, so while I would prefer email, you can use those too). Some of you guys also know how to contact me on dA and the like. My contact information is on my profile and in my signature, so PLEASE USE IT. (Except for the ICQ info. That one's a joke. 8D; )

So, pretty much: I'm calling all of you guys together for roll call. Voice actors will get messages from me first, as the video editors are all waiting on you guys, and then the rest of you guys will also get them. When you receive that email, if you wish to hold your position in the project, YOU MUST RESPOND.

Also, additional help from you guys would be REALLY appreciated. Information on whether you changed your main email address anytime since the project began, keeping an eye out for people I'm having trouble contacting, etc. would be invaluable to me. With Kaboom out as the leader, it's going to be a bit harder to run things, so I would be extremely grateful for extra assistance where you guys can give it. I can literally chase everyone around for months, but even if I do that I'm not going to be able to get everything for the project back in order all by myself.

Everybody get this? This is important if you ever want to see this project completed. SO GET TO IT.
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

Well, hopefully you'll also take into consideration that I have quite a bit of Japanese BGM tracks. That's if you don't have enough already. I can also take a crack at the actual video editing if you'd like.

Also, if a favorite withdraws or is dropped from a role, I could likely be able imitate them and fill in. Depends.

Got it Kino.

I completely understand why Kaboom has dropped out; I would do the same, considering how things have moved so slowly over the year. No one gets off their god-damn butts to help get this project moving! Kaboom, it was great having you as our leader for this project... we respect you.

You did a great job...

Well, I guess this is goodbye.

*Moment of silence*

...

Anyway, moving on, I'm sure Kino has got more than it takes to guide us in completing this! But unless I see massive activity in a short period, I'm gonna lose hope like before...

And probably quit just like Kaboom.

For myself, I'm happy to say that I'm nearly finished recording my lines. Should be done this week or the next.

Sorry to hear that Kaboom has dropped out but I can understand the frustration that managing a project like this could cause. Even though we were just trying to have fun with this, we definitely let it get a little too laid back.
