Do you think there will be news in this months' V-Jump? Since SDBH World MIssion is now out and all, they'll have free space to promote this.
I think we might get some teaser for E3 as that's where I believe it'll get its main introduction.
I hope for some new info already, it is like ages when we saw the first teaser. I would like to know, if all arcs will be presented and how much open world it will be? I hope it is like all Legacy of Goku series in one package and not like Sagas
Did anyone played the One Piece World game? Is it good?

V-Jump is a washout. Looks like they're holding out for E3. I personally don't think Dragon Ball needs it.
V-Jump is promo magazine in the first place, so there won't be any unnexpected things to come out,
except for screenshots from things we know about, were vaguely announced or some official twitter wrote: Hey, look for V-Jump for some announcement next month!''. No suprises then
Alright, folks. Today's the day. It's now or never. I actually forgot about this game since no news came out ever since the announcement trailer, I only remembered 'cause I'm here searching for stuff about E3 and such.
Hopefully we're about to get another wonderful game with an original plot. I'm expecting it to be a very Naruto-esque game in terms of gameplay and in "its feeling" (lack of better word) overall, which may be interesting. But above all, just don't turn out to be a Raditz to Buu bullshit, that's all I ask for.
If anything, I expect at the very least they reveal the name of this game.

That's exactly what this woill be, maybe even just up to Cell. The main goal of the game is to retell Z's story in Naruto storm's cinimatic style. It may not be a new story, but it'll be presented in a very different way.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I'm kinda hoping it's Raditz to Freeza. I'd rather an in-depth look at one arc than a summary of the entirety of Z and Super.
I'd rather not. Buu arc is the one that has never gotten a well adapted story in the videogames. Raditz, Frieza and Cell have Budokai 1 with it's surprisingly well done and fluid cutscenes. Buu saga has sadly gotten nothing, besides characters talking pre-fight in stiff poses.

That's extremely sad to hear.
Did you not see the trailer?
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

The game is called Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
It’s an interesting naming choice, which basically confirms that this game will just cover from Raditz to Freeza with a big focus on Goku who will probably be the sole playable character.
The game doesn’t sound really good if it ends up being like this. I hope I am wrong or that if I’m not that at least the gameplay etcetera will make up for what’s shaping up to be none other than a prettied up Legacy of Goku 1.

That is such a bland and forgettable title that's gonna be a bitch to search up on google.

If it's going to be a very detailed story from Radtiz to Freeza then it has potential to be good as there's a lot of content there. I do however hope it has a versus mode that allows you to play as other characters. The name however could be better, a lot better.
It seems like Bandai are trying to give everyone what they want. Kakarot is the classic DB story for fans who want to re-live the original manga. Xenoverse is full of characters for fans who like massive rosters. Fighterz is a competitive fighting game for fans who like serious fighters. Then of course you've got heroes, legends, etc. At this point it'll be hard for any fan to not find what they're looking for.

Stupid name aside, I'm still not sold on the concept of the game. I've just gone down the well of going through the mjaor story and character beat of the narrative arcs from Raditz to Boo so much that it will take MAJOR narrative twist of the formula to pique my interesting in replaying the same shit all over again.

But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
