Attempting to spell "caucasian" when you are unsure of the spelling it just asking for trouble. Would it have killed you to just go with "white"?

He's right, you know. None of us are racist here (To the best of my knowledge, anyway :P ). Nobody on Daizex will gasp and break a monocle if you refer to a guy as black / white. ^^

Let me rephrase that. Nobody who has been on Daizex for over a day will gasp and break a monocle if blah blah blah.

Back on topic, you guys.

I'm going to pretend it was the concept of posting on-topic that shocked you to the point of monocle breaking. Shame on you!

(This way I'm not proved wrong)

Does 4 months of lurking count? ;)

Anyway, I've never really cared too much for power levels. Putting a number on someone's strength always struck me as kind of cheesy. I've never understood why most other people are so fascinated with them.

The numbers are there for people to argue about why they have favorite characters of DBZ.

Example:
"Vegeta was so tough while on Namek! His PL was 24,000 and broke Zarbon and Dodoria's scouter! Other than Frieza, most of the Ginyu force and before Goku showed up and Nail Vegeta was the badass of Planet Namek!"

Yup, I smell cheese. But I've heard these kinds of statements before. Hell, I think I made them when I first started watching DBZ when I was 14 how childish I was.

You just to have increase your PL by a lot really really fast to break a scouter. You don't need to be 00ber strong. :P

EDIT: I forgot to get pissy: I wrote "caucasian" with an "o" instead of an "a" because I made a typo. It would have been like typing "their" instead of "there". :x

And Zacko: for someone who's so quick to be EX's bitch and point out his grammar rule, you were fast to break his "don't say anything unless you have something to add to what was previously said" rule... :P

My little excerpt of a conversation was not based on many facts, I am familiar with the way a scouter breaks. I based it on people who have just started watching and have done a bit of homework.

Geez, such hostilites over grammar. It's like being in English class all over again. Simmer down people. :P

ZOMG!

Does anyone else fine this awesome? Having a reading of 20-30 "Kiris" is able to blow up 2 small planets!!

Then with Yakkon's 800 and Goku's 3,000 reading I wonder how much damage they can cause!

Thank you, that is great info, hidden from fans.

I always thought it was implied that Nappa was closer to 8000, I mean, given that Goku started the fight at 8000, and it wasn't until Nappa did his uber constipation powering-up that he was able to fight on a somewhat even level.

I mean, his self explained 'best shot' caught even Goku somewhat offguard, and when he went after Krillin/Gohan, he had to use Kaioken to get him in time.

I mean 4000? I always thought Nappa was more of a badass then that!

4,000 is probably a good estimate for the level of power he used when he fought against the Z Senshi (would explain why he wasn't severely affected by their attacks, but they were still doing some damage to him all the same.) 8,000 would be, as you said, probably where he was after he calmed himself down fighting Gokuu, as they seemed to be near equal blow for blow, and Gokuu even commented that at the rate they were going, the fight would take forever (so without the Kaiou-ken, neither he or Nappa had any advantage in terms of power).

People really need to stop posting in this thread that was created 3 years ago. Rob's not even working on the fic anymore. -_-
