pepsiplunge wants to play the game, its hardly a game. You press a button to get to the next cutscene. I dont understand why someone would spend money on a game that you just sit and watch.
Final Fantasy much?
From what I hear, it's more like how Dragon's Lair was, though not as fun.

Dragon's Lair sucked. But I only know that because of the AVGN review. :)

That was the NES version. He explained that in the begining.

I was referring to the original arcade one, which I've never played, but heard was good for its day.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed watching the animation footage from this game. It was super exciting to see some new/never-before-seen Dragon Ball animation.

I am old enough to have been at prime arcade game playing age when the Dragon's Lair game came out. Take it from me...it was leaps and bounds ahead of everything else. No-one had ever seen fully rendered animation and audio in a game before. We're talking about a time when things still looked and sounded like Mario Bros and worse. This thing was high quality 2D animation with a full on soundtrack with REAL VOICES AND MUSIC! Woww......

Sure the game play mechanics were pretty limiting cause the game itself was a cartoon hacked up into a video game. But...I remember playing it and really having a good time. Got my blood racing as I anticipated each new section. It was paced pretty well.

Ok, old fart shuts up now ^^
