Will these suffice?

The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

Oh thanks a lot, mate! Almost the same quality I was expecting.Robo4900 wrote: Wed Mar 27, 2019 12:33 pm Will these suffice?Unfortunately, Trunks is slightly cut off in the first one, as Kai cuts away slightly earlier in that pan.Spoiler:![]()

Re: Camera Pans!
Sorry for the bump but I have just started to do this. I have the FUNimation Dragon Ball GT Volumes/Boxes and I wanted to watch it, then decided to go ahead and start stitching panning shots.
Now bear in mind these are up-scaled. The reason for that being is because I like to take fullscreen shots of certain moments/characters and draw/trace it in ClipStudioPaint. So it's easier for me to make a 1440x1080 image that auto crops off the black bars for me. You might ask yourself, why not do it in 640x480 / 720x576? Well the fullscreen shot makes it easier for me personally to see the details when I upscale it even further in the program. This is how I am doing it, sorry.
Nevertheless here are a few of mine.
Girls & Guy oggling the president of Capsule Corp, Trunks as he walks by. I'm pretty sure that's that Gay guy who winked at Trunks at the EoZ tournament. Also the center girl really looks like an older Pan.

More girls oggling Trunks

Pilaf Gang on the lookout, looking at the Black Star Dragon Balls. (Now for some reason, no matter what I do I cannot fix the leg on the robot. I have no idea why, if I line that up, Shu is off badly, if I line Shu up the leg is Okayish. I even tried Manually doing it and having Photoshop auto-merge.)

City Pan with Goku eating, and his kidnappers talking

Capsule Corp. Headquarters vertical pan.

City pan with pedestrians

Bustling city

Gohan's house? They are building that spaceship for their trip, but I know this isn't CC.

Nice pans, SSPan!
I love the Toriyama futuristic buildings with the spheres and egg shapes and cylinders. Is that type of architecture based on anything, or is it unique to Toriyama?

Thanks! Also, Based on a Google search, I think it's unique to him, at least of what I've seen anyway. I love doing this, and when I get my 30th Box Set in November I'll do the Z series too. Unfortunately I just finished Dragon Ball, so I won't be re-watching that for a bit.KBABZ wrote: Mon Aug 12, 2019 8:45 pm Nice pans, SSPan!

Re: Camera Pans!
I've often said that from a pure aesthetics standpoint, GT is my favourite Dragon Ball series. I 100% stand by this.
Thank you for these pans.
You mentioned earlier the possibility of doing these kinds of pans with the 30th anniversary sets; I would advise against that. The quality is very poor on those. Image is sharper and clearer on the DBoxes, the DVD singles, etc. etc.

Did a couple from Z episode 31 by request of someone here on Kanzenshuu, in another thread...
Probably been done before, but I didn't see one that used Level footage, so I thought I'd take a swing at doing a nice, HD version of these.
Honestly, I think my slight extensions in the top-left of the first one are a bit wooly, but I think the second one turned out very nicely.

Re: Camera Pans!
DAMN, if that second one were a movie poster for a proper animated Z movie that'd be ANYBODY hyped.

Re: Camera Pans!
Now that second one especially with the beam clash is just awesome. That would be so sick to have in some sort of poster. Now if we had DB/GT on blu-ray some of the sick horizontal pans could probably make a decent quality desktop background when stitched together.Robo4900 wrote: Tue Jun 02, 2020 7:47 am Did a couple from Z episode 31 by request of someone here on Kanzenshuu, in another thread...
