Oh dear lord, no. If Falcouner's music gets the go, I think it should be fair to give Kikuchi's music as well. Aside from that, yes, the Budokai music is loads better than anything Falcouner's done for the series. The US Sparking! music is alright.

Have the Saibamen and Cell Jrs. been confirmed to be playable?

(I personally prefer Faulconer to the original music. I don't like 30 year old orchestral music playing in the background when I kick people's ass.)
Read my post.

What I'm disputing is, that if the music in Burst Limit is anything like the music in the Budokai series, there is no reason to replace it, these are modern rock/jazz arrangements that are far more fitting for a Dbz fighting game than the terrible Budokai Tenkaichi music, or Faulconer's score.

Ok then. So, as far as the American music goes, you prefer the music composed specifically for the games as opposed to Faulconers music?
I think hearing my girlfriend slowly choke to death on a large knife is better and more enjoyable to my ears then the Faulconer score. It just sounds like circus music with a techno beat.

Edit: It doesn't help that those awful sounding beats don't end until the episode does. One score after another after another. Was there ever any silence in the dub?

Oh, musta' misread it.

At first glance I thought it was "GRWAGHWRAH NO LIEK FAULCONER *fanbosim* *fanboism* IMPORT IMPORT!"

But now I see what you actually meant.

Why can't you people seem to respect that some people like the Faulconer score? Get over it. It would be great if they put it in.

Playing devil's-advocate, I could simply retort by asking you...

Why you can't respect that some people like the original Japanese score and dislike the Faulconer score at the same time? Get over it, blah blah blah, put in whatever, blah blah blah.

I like both of them. I think that people could stand to learn to be more tolerant of other people's opinions is all. We are all Dragonball fans here folks.

You're not alone. You've got just-as-intolerant opinions backing you up, such as:
Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:(I personally prefer Faulconer to the original music. I don't like 30 year old orchestral music playing in the background when I kick people's ass.)
I find it extremely unfair to jump all over fans of Kikuchi when said fans are on the same kind of receiving end, which (as always) the other side completely ignores since it invalidates their requests.

Really now... as long as people don't treat other people in a diminishing way about their tastes they don't have to respect anything.

All the scores are great, there is no better one, it all comes down how you grew up. You can all get what you want, be it import or home release. So why argue over it :x

I personally liked the Budokai music the best. The Sparking! series had a couple good songs, but the Budokai Series was really awesome to me.

Just to get rid of these arguments over music, though. I think I'll try to hack into the system, and replace all the BGM in all the versions with the GT Rap.

I was talking solely about the games, as I personally feel that Faulconer's music fits better with the games than Kikuchi's music. There were even some old videos posted in the METEOR thread and had some Faulconer's music, and others also thought that it fit rather well with the games.

I'm not jumping all over others here, I'm just saying that:

Music alone is not a good reason to import.

Which I backed up by saying that I don't enjoy the original music when I play the games anyway, just a matter of opinion, but I guess I did come off quite bitchy.

((And we got the issue settle, since it was actually a misunderstanding on my part, but thanks anyway =D))
((And I do respect the original music, but I just don't enjoy it while playing the games, save for Solid State Scouter and a few select songs.))

Nah...I always tend to take DBZ seriously. But I never knew he was being sarcastic. It's hard to tell when it's over the internet. But whatever.

It's nice to see that we're all following the conversation here. This is how the whole Orange Brick vs DBox debacle probably started. Let's not rehash a settled misunderstanding for the sake of a few cheap shots. =D

Back on topic, does anyone know how that "Drama Piece" system plays? From all I've seen, it's just a buddy system with a neat cutscene.

So, why are we hearing ROck the Dragon in the second English Trailer?

I thought those days ended a long time ago.

I dunno, but it gave me a healthy dose of nostalgia
