A very nerdy question about names

IMO it's like why Bulma is spelt that way instead of Buruma.. it looks better and less awkward (and Akira Toriyama even wrote it on her hat that way, no?)

Back in the very first chapter of Dragonball, on her shirt it says "Bulma." So, yeah, that's how he spelled it. However, considering how he spells some names (and how they change over time :D

Well, in Bulma's case, it was always, always, ALWAYS spelled "Bulma" in the manga.
