My idea for history of SSG

Post by OmegaKing » Thu Dec 19, 2019 8:45 pm

So long ago Planet Vegeta was in a civil war, righteous Saiyans vs barbaric evil Saiyans. The righteous Saiyans wanted to establish a government to maintain order and prevent the growing power level of their own race from threatening the safety of the planet, with policies like mandatory tail removal at birth, the barbarians believed this was an assault on their heritage and traditional Saiyan culture of violent barbarism and rebelled. Many Saiyans had already achieved the level of Super Saiyan, SS2, and some even SS3. These mighty warriors were used on the front line of an epic battle that destroyed large portions of the planet. With superior technology and intelligence the righteous Saiyans seemed to be on the verge of victory, until an evil Saiyan became an LSS in the same vein as Kale and Broly and went on a rampage, killing nearly all the Super Saiyans on both sides with a massive explosive wave. Only 6 righteous Super Saiyans remained, and together poured their energy into the strongest of them in a last ditch effort to save the planet. Thus the original SSG was born, defeating the mighty berserker in a close but conclusive victory, ki blade through the heart.

However the destructive conflict had sent the planet back to the dark ages, all the most intelligent scientists and politicians having been murdered by the evil luddite Saiyans in the chaos. Without the infrastructure and technology of their forefathers the preceding generations could not access the means to unlock the secrets of the Super Saiyan transformation, it becoming merely a legend alongside the even more legendary Super Saiyan God transformation, leaving them weakened and vulnerable when Frieza eventually arrived despite the efforts of King Vegeta to restore Saiyan civilization to the golden age.

Nice effort. A movie or mini-series centered about the real history of the Saiyans, without Goku and Vegeta, would be refreshing for once. It could have potential, most definitely.
I'd love to learn more about the original SSJ, Yamoshi, and what happened later on, the creation of the first SSJG etc.
Like Star Wars is expanding their universe (fe the Mandalorian), DB could do that as well, but i guess we won't get such stories in detail anytime soon. Not in animated format anyway. And if we get a new movie which is set in the main timeline, they'll probably choose a safe route involving the classic characters again.
