Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Considering the main topic regarding Vic Mignogna on the forum, I can only imagine three reasons for asking about this on Kanzenshuu

a) You want the forum to talk you out of hosting said panel

b) This is a real request, but you had not read the room in regards to this particular figure

Or

c) This is an intentional attempt to troll and instigate an issue.

In regards to a, other members have given many reasons not to host this panel. I can’t really add anything else that they haven’t stated.

In regards to b, to see the feelings of the majority of the forum, you should look over the main Vic Mignogna board where you can see what looks like the majority of Kanzenshuu’s opinion, and follow a lot of the case from links to professional lawyers and their opinions.

In regards to c, Kanzenshuu seems pretty united on the subject and I don’t think you’re going to get the response you want.

The only piece of advice I can truly give, is don’t call Vic Mignogna a piece of shit. This statement is defamatory and false as Mr. Mignogna is not a piece of shit (that is another name for feces, thus it is impossible for him to be a "piece of shit")

In baking, you can never have simple, healthy, and tasty. You can have tasty and healthy, you can have simple and tasty, and sometimes you can even have simple and healthy. But all three? That’s a unicorn.

Honestly if the panel was unavoidable and HAD to happen, I'd rather someone aware of the situation hosted to play it neutral so to not stir up shit.

There is no 'has to happen'. It's a panel at a fucking cartoon convention, not something of actual importance. So fuck Vic Mignogna and fuck the convention for hosting him. I would be furiously demanding a refund if I were a attendee and a guest. Conventions need to have the fear of god put into them that bringing predators into safe spaces for fans and their children will get their asses disgraced out of polite society.
