I do enjoy collecting the figures though, and with my love for Gunpla flowering like never before, I'm growing increasingly interested in the Figurise Standard DBZ kits, though I'm not so sure on their quality or size for their price.
I love them. Some of the earlier ones are a bit janky sculpt-wise, but they keep improving. They're basically HGs, in that they use some stickers for colors (some only need mouth stickers), and they're hollow. The articulation on them is the best on any DB figure line, beating out even the Figuarts due to having ankle rocker joints on most of the kits.
If you don't mind doing a bit of painting (and lining the eyes with some paint or a Gundam panel lining marker), then they're very fun.
Duly noted. I knew about the stickers, and I was kinda worried they'd be HG-esque in terms of quality for the price they're asking. Usually, HGs are about $15-20 with the more advanced or larger kits ranging around $30-50 and the special editions (and enormous sized kits like the Dendrobium or Neo Zeong) being all even higher still. At the $30-50 a piece, I would kinda expect these kits to be MG or RG in quality, since that's generally the their price range, you know?
That said, they did just release topless Jiren, and I'm kinda really wanting to grab him lol

The Figure-rises are about the size of MG kits, so I guess RE/100 would be the closest equivalent (but I've never built them and don't know if they have stickers or not). Most Figure-rise kits are about $20-$30, with only the bigger ones or ones with more accessories being more costly. HG kits prices have been going up a bit with engineering improvements, and they're much smaller, so I'd say it's a decent price for what you get.

If they're MG size, they do seem more in line with RE1/100s. That kinda justifies the price a bit better. Really eyeballing that Jiren, it looks really nice (and I'm not normally a fan of the character lol)

Prize figures mainly sometimes gashapon and candy products. Although I mostly just care about the work of sculptors lately so I collect mostly for that rather than characters, for example seeing the rise of the likes of Takenaka and Takamatsu and as result them getting import releases as a result just fills me with joy!

I specifically enjoy buying WCF figures, but I think I'm done collecting those. Now it's just the mangas and blurays
I still blame you for getting me into those
But man they have been so ehh ever since Nakazawa stopped doing them & now somehow ehh has turned to bad. Just glad there is no new material atm.

You're welcome

Don't know the names, but definitely. I youtube videos of unboxings from time to time, and the paint jobs have become bad enough not to order. Though that new Majin Vegeta looks tempting
The last one I ordered was Gogeta Blue, and it took me at least 4 orders to get one somewhat decently painted (I had an issue lol)

The Goku kits are just a touch smaller than the G and Wing suits, Cell is roughly the size of the bigger UC Gundams (not Unicorn big), and Vegeta is closer to the F-91. They're not on average the size of the majority of UC MGs, but they tower over the bigger HG kits (like my ZZ).

Most of these comparisons are lost on my because the only 1/100s I have are the FM Barbatos Lupus Rex and the MG Barbatos lol. Definitely going to pick up Jiren and maybe an accompanying Goku

Home video because I want something I can get some use from. That's less the case anymore since I find it harder to justify the expense and I'm running out of shelf space. I'll likely still buy the occasional DB movie, but not every TV series volume.

I remember you messaging me! That set came out exactly a year ago. You really have stopped lol. I only collected the WCD for new stuff and mostly just went back to old releases. Wish I was collected these a lot sooner than 2018 and with the knowledge now about ratios etc cuz some of the rate ratio ones are so hard to find for a decent price now...

Videogames, only the good one though

.
There's nothing else that interest me, years ago I'd have bough the home releases but since streaming has become a thing I have little reasons to get them right now.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Doesn't the FUNimation stream use Orange Brick footage for Z? Seems like a great reason to not stream..on top of many others.
DB, Z, and GT subbed are my "canon".

I mean, the current available home releases are the bricks and the BD seasons, which are just as bad in different ways.
Though the Faulconer music isn't on the streaming sites, which is the only reason I still have my bricks.

I'm the same. I don't own figures or other types of merchandise because they compound the space issue and when you have a good number of home releases shelved together there's some consistency. It's also harder for me to justify buying something unless it gives me an experience (as watching and reading do).
