Marsters seems to know Piccolo's backstory

The more i learn about this movie, the more it reminds me of the cheap and nasty Thunderbirds movie out a few years ago.

Well in that video where he talks about the role he mentions that Piccolo starts as an old man and then wishes for his youth. It's unclear if he's talking about the character in general or if he's saying that it will happen in the movie. But I'm leaning toward it happening in the movie.

Does anybody think its likely that in the sequels, instead of having a Ma Junior as a completely different character, we'll have a reformed Lord Piccolo instead?

That's quite possible. But if they kill of this Piccolo, they always have another to fall back on. Nice little insurance Marsters has there, if the film's a success.

It probably just might happen. If Marster's performance is awesome, I wouldn't mind if that occured.

.... if Daimaou had been the one to reform instead of his son, that could be damn interesting. I'm not sure how you could get that to work (Daimaou being congealed evil and all), but it certianly would be interesting if you could get it to. He'd be a lot more volatile and violent, more mood-wise like Veg than Pic.

Don't know how likley it is yet, because we don't have that kinda plot info for the movie version. But I could dig it.
